If you’re there for the wine tasting, make sure you tour Castello di Amorosa. Badass winery and some cool history. Watch your eyes if you go with the lady though, that place attracts god’s most divine..... got busted by the lady a few times when we went.......

 

I think you are right, I was digging around on sites for OEM parts and they have several part numbers for all the configurations.

I recall one of the NorCal regulars mentioned working for Toyota Parts Department at some point. Anyone know who that could be? I’m wondering if ordering online is the best way to get OEM parts? I know we have a lot of local salvage yards so i’ll have to see if they catalog them appropriately.

I’m considering setting my 5100s to the first clip of preload to get slightly more level so to avoid making the ride too hard I want to ensure I’m at a proper spring rate.

 

I took my family on one of the tours there just a few months ago. We really enjoyed it! Seeing that kind of architecture without having to go international is awesome.

 

I know right?! Super cool to see some of the artifacts/structures and drink some good-tasting wine they have. Definitely a good way to spend a few hours on a weekend.

 

That said, weekends are crazy busy so if it can be helped try to go outside of peak time.

 

Ahhh yes, we've been there before. The wives with us are insisting that they are the eye-candy.

Well, we went, but left...



They wanted $120 from us, for two already-drunk women to have 5 tastings... We have a DD, and I'm done drinking, but they still charge $30/pp for entrance, no matter what. We'll stick to the smaller, more friendly places. We have 3 cases already, and this place just lost sales for not letting us in; but they don't care.

 

NAPA is nice but you should visit Murphy’s CA. World class wine and they only recently started charging for tastings

Most places are only $5 still.

 

Livermore and Santa Cruz Mountain Winery Association. Lots closer to home and cheaper too. Great wine and some better than Napa/Sonoma areas.

 

We have friends that are members at Tank, and they needed to go pick up an order, so we tagged along. We've done the Passport before, and I know the wife wants to venture out to support her wino-tendencies.

There's one in Murphy's that has a great gold and gem collection for viewing also.

 

Ironstone? They have a huge gold nugget they pulled out of a local quarry that they let people view. Pretty cool.

 

Yes. And in my other line of work they purchase collectable nuggets as well. I wasnt going to say the name but that's a cool place.

 

One bottle short of three full cases...
