Anyone bought the extreme warranty for King shocks? 4Wheel Parts offering $159 a pair for the coil overs and $100 for the rears for 3 years parts and labour. Is it worth it?

Didnt even know one existed.... but I guess that place will do anything to separate you from more money... there are vendors here that can probably get you better deals and I know there are better shops and people for installs.

Only thing that your shocks should need over the course of 3 years is a rebuild or two, which is considered normal maintenance for performance shocks/coilovers and not something a warranty will cover. Sounds like they're just trying to make more money off people, I wouldn't buy it.

Agreed. The shocks will get rebuilt a few times anyway.

Are you going to off road with them... then no. That's the loophole in contract.

If you are not going to Offroad your King shocks it is much more intelligent to just buy some 5100s and paint them blue, use a couple soup cans as fake remote reservoirs and call it good.

I can’t see the point in a vendor voiding a warranty on a product that only provides tangible benefit off road, because you took it off road..
