I'll take one with the bottle opener, and will the black be offered in colors? Inferno? Does it still utilize the hidden key?

Need to send you a PM anyway.

How is your interior vinyl holding up? I got most of my exterior done, but I haven't started on the interior. I heard it can be difficult to make it last.

Sorry if you've answered this, but did you paint or powder coat the wheels? Did you color match the faux bolts or just black?

One last boring question. Did you ever temp mount those blue Rays on your quicksand to see what the color combo looked like? If so, any pics?

I apologize for the rando questions. As much as I like my SR8s, I'm kinda getting bored with the black and am considering a color change.

@mesojdm hey I feel like I missed something somewhere about your taillights. Are you still planning on making a brand new tail? Or did that whole idea get scrapped? Thanks and appreciate any info!

If you’re talking about a complete, from scratch tail light... yes.
I had everything ready to go. But the mold cost for a part that large(and quality) was a bit more than I had. So I’ve been doing the smaller mods(more affordable)such as Gassholes, turn signals, coin trays, etc. to work my way up.
I can then use the profit from them, and go all in on a big project like the tail lights. ($100k+). The biggest concern was if Toyota was going to release LED tails on the 2020’s..which doesn’t appear so. That will at least give me a 1 year head start if they decide to do it for 2021’s.

He might be referring to when I was thinking about making my own “complete” tail lights. As in designing, molding, etc my own. But those are the next best thing!

I powdercoted the wheels and sliders.
Wheel face is a dark metallic blue(similar to VOLK mag blue) with black powder coated lip. Then I coated the bolt heads blue for some small contrast.
I don’t have any pics of the rays on my QA sorrry.
