Installed Toytech’s add a leaf to my 2017 Taco, with 3 degree shims, and now ride height on right rear is about 1 inch higher than on left rear. I cannot figure out why. Any ideas?

More info possibly affecting this: at the same time I also installed: in the front - Fox Shocks 2.5 res coils with total chaos uca’s; and in the rear - Fox Shocks 2.0 res.

Front left and right are within 1/8 inch of each other, but rear heights are about 1 inch off, as stated above. This was not the case before adding these components.

    Any help is appreciated.

That's what I thought.... you are not the first... the answer is here. Pics will help. So take a deep breath, relax and you are not in over your head.
Are the aal's both in the correct orientation???
You are going to get asked a bunch of a questions. Gonna be a pain and repetitious, so don't get mad.;)

I appreciate the encouragement. Toytech said the add a leaf direction is reversible, so I suppose they’re in the right direction. I looked again this morning and the leaf distance from center pin is evenly measured on both sides.

Tried to get photos of the leafs, but short of removing the tires again no pictures of them are forthcoming. I can say that everything is tight, no light between spaces, etc.

Here is the rear of the truck. No visible differences, but it does measure one inch higher on passenger rear.

Here are the driver's and then passenger's rear measurements:

Here is the bed itself showing level with the cab, so it's not just the bed alignment.

Mine are similar and I think many have the same issue. Did you measure with a full or near empty tank of gas? If this is a new install, it may settle a little more to either side.

Gas tank is full. However, did not have the left lean prior to this install.

I had a 1/4" difference prior to AAL, and now it's about 3/4" when tank is full. Less if tank is close to empty.

Hadn't checked in a while and thought I'd check again with 1/4 of gas. Only 1/4" difference. So, it's going to fluctuate and doesn't really impact anything.

You're getting the "taco lean" you might have to install some spacers on the driver side to balance the truck out. Just search taco lean and I'm pretty sure you will find your answer.

Thanks. I’ve read about it. I was just curious because I didn’t have it before the aal. I appreciate any tips.

Guess I'll keep mine stock. I'd be unable to live with that. It would drive me nuts.

You measure from the floor-fender or from the hub-fender?

In reality, the only way I can tell is to measure it - so I just ignore it.

I’d retorque everything to spec with your wheels on the ground, no jack. Also, let it settle while driving for a week.

Mine was off right to left and after a few weeks it’s even all around with 1.75” rake in back. Drops to less than 1” when I load up the bed, which is what I wanted. Also, no shims.

    FR 35.75”
    FL 35.75”
    RR 37.50”
    RL 37.50”

Were you on flat level surface when you measured?

When I pull in my garage the ground slopes at 3 degrees and one side measures more than the other, front too

Update my prior post: Hadn't checked in a while and thought I'd check again with 1/4 of gas. Only 1/4" difference. So, it's going to fluctuate and doesn't really impact anything. As mentioned, ensure everything is torqued sitting on the ground with full weight and see if things settle a bit with time.

    For any still following:

Gas level did affect measurements. Got some spacers and that made a tempt fix. Since then, though, I’ve instlaled fox coilovers that can adjust.
