I wish I was able to meet the owner, but he was not there the 2 times I have been. If I could take 2 (or any at all!) of the cars home, it would be the '57 Chrysler 300, and/or the 1970 Dodge Challenger that is near the Demon.
Even though the place is called Newport Car Museum, it is actually in Middletown. There is another car museum right in the middle of the Newport, but it is much smaller than this place.

Nasty out there! Just moved all the toys/cars into the barn and its all ice beneath the snow from the melt yesterday. Snow is whipping hard and sounds like more ice on the way.

Do I run out and try to grab some breakfast before that...or sit on the couch all day?

Yeah, I think without some freak storms in April, this is the last good ski week. I'm going to try to go at least once, maybe twice this week.

Hoping all this rain and ice later don't ruin the trails though!

I still have a bunch of my models, a yellow Diablo being one of them. They have both a superbird and an original cobra. Cobra estimated to be worth around 12 million lol

Miserable weather here in Westfield today. Might end up heading to the gun range just to get out of the house

Any idea what a head gasket job would run in the WMass area? Haven’t done any research into the task but know this ones got a few steps above my skill level haha.

F-in exhausted. We came home from my inlaws place last night and started some laundry. On the spin cycle, I heard a gurgle from the toilet that shares the same sewer line. Spent most of the night undoing clean outs and forcing the clog out (and anyone who has ever pulled a clean out before knows exactly what follows). Got the clog fixed and the drain flowing and then discovered my washing machine drain line has been leaking from the back of the machine for who knows how long. All the spray foam I put in the crawl space has held the water so I spent the rest of the night and morning scraping off spray foam so everything will hopefully dry out. Just got back from Habor Freight, I bought their power drain cleaner thing to finish off the drain clog job then, i’m Going to bed!

I actually consolidated my collection not too long ago, I went from probably 50 down to 30. I had the yellow 1/18 Maisto Diablo as well. I wish I could find either a diecast 89-95 or newer Tacoma for my collection. They made an FJ80 Land Cruiser years ago and did the Ironman trophy truck, but never the pickups in diecast, unfortunately.

This last week was Oak Mt. in Speculator Sunday, Magic Wednesday (rented the Mt. for work, tried to get folks from TW to come), Gore yesterday (Saturday). I tend to panic and squeeze in as much sliding as possible in March. I’ve got plans for a weekend at Smugglers and 1 or 2 days at Whiteface. And I’ll play hooky and skin whenever possible...cell service is amazing these days!

Well the Fel-Pro head gasket kit is $307, which I would recommend getting, and it alsp seems like the OE manufacturer of the head gaskets was Fel-Pro. Plus you'll need a lot of coolant, enough to fill the radiator and block back up, might as well do your full timing set along with water pump and t-stat since the timing belt comes off anyways. You would also need new head bolts since I'm pretty sure the stock ones are torque to yield bolts. You'd want to also check the head and block flatness yourself or have a machine shop do it. The heads might not need to be decked back to flat, which would save you some money. You're probably looking at a $1500 to $2000 bill I'm guessing? It depends on what needs to be done with the heads and block really. A shop might be more, not really sure.
