When did the rush hour traffic on Saturdays start? Was ridiculous getting home from work today.

Might need to crack the hose to rotate fittings to get it to line up. That can make a huge difference. Like 1”+ extra reach.

I don't like the sound of that but I don't think it will be necessary. The trick was just to get the front into position and get the clamp to tighten, then go ham on the rear pushing upwards to install the clamp. Once one is on, the other is way easier to fiddle with.

The answer was MOAR STRENGTH :benchpress::muscleflexing:

    IMG_2215.jpg
Clamp is crooked because I realized I had used the clamp the wrong way. I thought the hose clamp was supposed to go thru the holes but it actually just is there to keep the hose clamp from walking.
From some other Fox install guide:

That's no big deal, I will run out and do that in just a second.

Looks like hose and resi clearances are tight but good too:

Someone replied in the Fox thread, looks like I will have to tweak the lines after all to give me just that extra hair of clearance. After that though this side is mostly wrapped up! Only things left are ABS wire clip and adjusting preload.

Then I gotta get an alignment too, and Firestone closes at like 3:00 tomorrow.

^^^^ This. Had to change the angle of the hose on my ADS shocks as well to get them sitting flat on the resi mounts.

Yeah I see this is pretty much par for the course, I was under the impression the buggers would immediately start leaking and weeping if you loosened them, but I guess I was wrong.

    Still a pucker moment though...

Yeah since I had never worked on shocks before I was super nervous about cracking the fitting on my ADS shocks and losing pressure but I guess there is some lattitude with the pipe thread as long as you’re not going crazy.

And I have a phobia of working on pressurized fittings... I know what coolant (CPU coolant for computers but almost the same stuff) feels like when it is sprayed into your eyes at high pressure. :bananadead:
It feels like fire that doesn't go out even when you are getting your peepers douched out by cool water at the eye wash. :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

    IMG_2224.jpg

In all seriousness though thanks guys, you rock it. All it took was some cooler heads and a little encouragement. Still took a lot of pulling and grunting and the stickers are a shredded mess now (the horror!) but we are clear and level.

All I gleamed from this page is: Camburg UCA's is what everyone is running in AZ

This is good information, as I plan to get an ADS set up, but was wondering which UCA I should pair with them.
