Simplest solution is to let the Insurance company/adjuster and a competent body shop do a full evaluation, and let THEM decide. Seriously. They do that for a living! Getting opinions on a forum is all well and good, but it's YOUR TRUCK, and YOUR SAFETY down the road that you are REALLY worried about.

Also, better see what your homeowners insurance has to say about this incident...

Yeah, I’m wondering if you file on auto or home owner insurance?

Pretty sure that is under home since the object which hit the truck was attached to the house.

    Whichever has lower deductible lol

Hopefully it’s bundled so just one deductible for both types of damages?

That’s if it was his house lol

If not, whoever owns the bricks is gonna pay for this one I think

I would just go push a few more rows of bricks onto the roof to ensure it’s demise. Don’t worry about the oil smell it’s probably just your leaking diff

Somehow the front end looks untouched amid the rubble! This was an entire chimney vs my taco. Yup if I'd only have backed in. Normally I do but during winter the state plows the road and I try to shield the front.

Again I appreciate all comments. It's helping me in a brick shitty situation.

I got rear ended by a semi which smashed my bed into the cab. I took it in for an estimate and the insurance company wanted to repair i, even with the massive frame damage. I don't think your truck will get totaled out based on that, but I could be wrong.
