Jerry @UntamedTaco found this deal! I think this is as low as the price will ever get.

    https://www.4wd.com/p/smittybilt-overlander-roof-top-tent-2783/_/R-DSBP-2783

Unfortunately we still need to figure out how to make our tonneau work with a bed rack. I'm going to look at mine again today to see if I can figure something out.

I also saw a couple nice tents up at Cabela's yesterday. Two were on clearance for $100 off. I'm still not ruling out this option. I was also able to find a cot that fits in my bed with only two legs so it can straddle the wheel well. With a short bed you'd definitely have to build something. I personally don't want something permanently built in because I take trash to the dump regularly and I need to be able to hose it out back there.

    Anyway, I'm still researching..........

Figured out my solution for the winch hook. Part of why I didn’t like it hooked to a shackle was because of aesthetics (didn’t like the exposed orange) and also that bit of syn line exposed to the elements. This solved both issues. It’s from a smittybilt winch and @UntamedTaco was kind enough to cut me off 8” of it.

Yeah probably but I think this would hold up better to the elements. It’s a plastic/vinyl type deal. It worked pretty damn well
