I love the tacoma its my first truck and my first brand new car. I still think i made the right decision going for the tacoma. Next time im getting a 6cyl though. These trucks are extremely well made and pretty much guaranteed to last forever. But its these little things that drive me crazy. I had a dash light come on its at the dealer now getting fixed. I have a clicking sound comeing from the front right suspension. Only happens when its quiet and has been parked for a minute. And one of my tires has dry rot trying to get them to replace it. The bed plastic holds dirt like a vice grip. But all in all a great truck im going to have forever.

What are some of the small problems you guys have had to deal with amd how did you fix them?20190303_144557.jpg

The clicking noise after parked? Not sure about that one.... did you apply the brake at the time of noise?

My speed sensor just went out 2 weeks ago! Lost traction control, abs, blind spot monitoring & could not even switch over to 4x4. Not fun during a snow storm. 2 years & almost 50k miles.

The clicking after shut off is normal on the 4cylinder. My gf was freaking out about it one day and after isolating the sound and doing some research I found it was normal and no need for her to take it back to the dealer.

Edit: the noise comes from a little doohickey right above the front right wheel well. I forget what it's called, but you get my point.
