this is why you should have from the very beginning contacted the Toyota service department, because these systems are very complicated and by Fing around with this electrical system and not knowing what your doing is going to surely screw something else up. [IMG]

You likely need to swallow your pride and get a tow. Dealership has lots of fancy equipment to talk to your truck with. I doubt anyone here has had the exact issue you do, so of course they are going to suggest the obvious stuff to check.

Don't discount the possibility you disconnected something innocuous looking that you've forgotten about in the time you've been away from it, and simply need to re-attach. No point in jumping down the throats of people you've asked for help.

Then you are in the wrong forum. When I have a design question about a complex hydrostatic system I don't go to a log splitter enthusiast forum. I fucking call experts in my industry. I suggest you do the same instead of being a condensending ass.

I was perfectly respectful even while the local trolls tried to get their posts in on what they thought was the “look at this moron” thread of the day.
I’m not trying to put anyone down that is legitimately trying to help but check the gas, contact the dealership, and connect the battery are troll responses and will be treated as such.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt but you come off as an ungrateful douche/dick. You asked for help so people gave suggestions

You obviously haven't been here for a long time, and are not winning anyone over with the continued responses you put out. Take a browse of some of the threads, and read what people ask questions about. A lot of times, people have no clue as they aren't professional engineers in the automotive field like yourself.

Edit to add, you aren't respectful when you immediately call people trolls after they post a simple suggestion or some humor.

Not trying to be a smartass at all, but the 'check the gas' comments could be related to someone STEALING your gas and you didn't know it???

Also, your comment about being an engineer in the automotive field.....electrical, mechanical, design, what type???? Not every engineer - or any profession - has the answer to any/all problems! You asked for help, so please accept it from those trying to help, including some 'outside the box' suggestions.
