I noticed a fuse was blown so I tried to replace it, but as soon as i make contact with the socket, it blows immediately. The fuse in question is the 10 amp one on the right, in the second image.

The first image shows were it came out of, which is supposed to be the door locks, with a 20 amp fuse. For some reason it has that wire with the extra 10 amp fuse, that keeps blowing.

I just bought this car, so I don't know what kind of mods it has. Does anyone know what mods would need this extra fuse and why it keeps blowing?

That’s an Add-a-fuse for something aftermarket added on. You’d have to trace where that wire goes to to know what it’s for.

That's what I was thinking, but tracing the wire to wherever is not something I feel comfortable doing myself, gonna get it looked at. The last, and only owner was Orkan, the bug exterminators. I just curious about what they would of added. maybe it's a gps or something

They may have added a cap with a light inside or a gps tracking device to monitor the driver. Is there a map light added in the cab or an amber light on the roof.

Anything on the truck Electrical system not working ??

The fuse being open you have a short leave the fuse open or even removed .

Do you really want to spend an Hours labor or maybe longer tracking wires to something that might be no longer even there ??

Might have been something the last employee to drive the truck added then was told your new truck is here get your things out snip snip what ever was there is gone.

I have been there having the old truck being traded or sold with only a few minutes to get my tools and other goodies out.

While the Roll back operator waited .
