    If whoever is doing the powder coating can't do common mild steel, then I wouldn't trust aluminum. Sure, you may not get rust but you can get corrosion or galling if there's stainless steel parts/hardware in contact with the aluminum.

    And seeing the issues with the steel, they presumably don't properly prep the aluminum either. It needs to be acid etched or sandblasted prior to coating to remove the aluminum oxide layer, or else the powder coat will simply chip off over time.

    Whenever we have to regularly follow-up on issues between a vendor and their customers, they've overstayed their welcome.

    One of the benefits of not charging vendors to be on here.
