Not happy about what I read so far, but I have pictures of @Texoma fixing my truck that are far happier to me, and I gotta edit those up so I can update the Little Big Red album! Because the only stupid things we've done is drink some beer! And take pictures. And I have to admit, I have a lot of fun taking pix at C&C's!

 

Today was my second CnC and my third TTC meet. I'm coming to more lol

 

I attend when I can, it’s tough with the other life things that hold me down.

 

The guys right, think he shouldn't be allowed to attend Jambo after this.

and LOL, there was NEVER any drama at the C&C, it all happened elsewhere and later in the Instagram world = we all had fun while we were there!
And no one really picks on Matt, he just makes it up! He's a 4WD Adonis! And the Master of Good Buys! Everyone knows this!

 

I get that. One of these days I'll become not busy with catching up on over a decade of missed opportunities and look for a new career. I miss working on cars, so I think I'll get into gunsmithing #GIBill

I definitely will. I was focused on the family and making site their every wish was my command to help insure a continued involvement. Not gonna lie, i felt bad for not saying hello to new faces, or sending more time with the group. I really wanted to stay longer but they were hungry and yada yada, just wanted them to be super comfortable.

 

HA! But funny - now he will get scratches! And up until he got close enough - he's swiped your stance! Told him he needed battery Black & Decker brush trimmers on the front bumper to keep them bushes away. Pretty soon, @KENNY will be pulling @ChadsPride out of my mud puddle!

 

Pinstripes and dents get chicks, but so do shiny cars. Answer? Wax. Lots of it.

Family first dude! I just wish I knew it was you when you "oopsed" me! I can't remember a lot of names, but I've been dying to meet you for months, so would have been fun! The old dude with the Silver (unmolested) Taco at the end of the lot? Spent a bunch of time with him hooking him up with all sorts of people and truck. Just wants a truck to take his grandkids out hiking in the wilderness!

LOL, my current Mantra! I got the chrome wheels, the chrome bumper! Gave away my chrome steps for the Preds, and now I have to give away my chrome grille (because he didn't show at SATX C&C!)

 

Hell yeah. I'll be at every ATX meet from this point forward, so you'll see me again lol. I'm still determining if my taco is a rock crawler or long-distance camping rig. Screw it and get both I guess lol. I'm saving the dates for April 27th and June 22nd and I've also bought tickets for Jambo so I'll see you again.

 

Unless something is wrong, I will be at every ATX. Planning on the SPID run and the wife will come, but you will only find us at the beach, because the rest is HOTEL camping! Will be at the June TTC ATX event at the lake, again, hopefully with the wife. I now consider April on hold....

But I am for sure more overlander (non-camp style) than crawler. I like some trails and scenery. But you will see me at HF, because my friends like to go nuts, and it's fun to watch, and I am going to learn to spot or useful copilot. Old Little Big Red is not built for fighting rocks, and I want to keep her a long time. But, this group is teaching me how to find a lot of fun, in a lot of different ways.

 

SPID? Is that the South Padre Tacomaworld meet? I've done a lot of ground camping using the truck to live out of, I guess that's overlanding. I also want a fridge and shower and awning. Guess I'm a wannabe overlander that crawls rocks lol. I don't want a rooftop tent, though. If I was to do it right, I'd get the Aluma-Cab pop-up tent system and crazy storage but I still use my truck as a truck so ground tents and cheap coolers with gas stoves lol

 

Holy crap, I spent all day hemmed up at work, looks like I missed a few things lol. Sounds like C&C was a good time. Maybe one of these days it won’t be on my work weekend.

 

Yep, you probably already have the link. I always called Corpus SPID, but everyone else refers to far South Padre (Harlingen, etc) as that. Corpus is PINS ( Padre Island National Seashore). WE LOVE PINS! So we will go there, get warmed up, then go beach cruising! Wife could care less about about a bunch of trucks in a line, but now she finally met a couple members, so.... it get's better. I really don't like mud either. And we don't camp. We old people. Camping is spelled "HOTEL"!
