So got to Washington on Friday from Colorado. On the way towed my wife’s rav4 with the Tacoma then the Lexus GX470.

    Outside echo Oregon this happened

Tire blew on the uhaul trailer and had to wait 3 hours to get it fixed. The bead held in place really well tho

Staying at a friends now in Puyallup and looking for a place to live. I am signing in to JBLM tomorrow for my first day of work since 31 January.

Yup. As I was saying I understand what Tread Lightly is all about. I just mentioned that @Wulf's message could come off as threatening though I know it wasn't.
Glad you made it man. It's like you're following duty stations I had haha. JBLM is pretty cool though I had a good time in WA. Should link up with @JimSnell and those guys. They're on the trail often

I think since those who defaced rocks in Moab were a dealer of CBI, they and a few others have been catching some heat thinking they have something to do with it.

Im sure all the details will come out soon. If this dude did this, shame on him. I just read a post from swellrunner on IG who is traveling with him on this trip and he is denying that It was him and claiming it was a person/friend that he’s traveling with. From what swellrunner said, Matteo (owner of Tacoma Beast) is taking full responsibility for this. He’s an idiot for posting this on his IG. If someone I was traveling with did this I would put my foot in their ass.

If CBI is going to talk the talk, then they need to walk the walk and very publicly cut ties with Mateo and Tacoma Beast, taking away any CBI dealership, if this all proves true. To say they do not condone blah blah blah, but to take no action would ring quite hollow, IMO.

Mateo the Taco Douche says he will take full responsibility blah blah blah. Taking full responsibility is not to organize a circle jerk and blame everyone else. Taking full responsibility would be to appear before the appropriate authorities, fess up, and ask what he can do to make it right, even if it means standing tall before a judge and explaining his actions.

I towed with the Tacoma and the wife towed with the Lexus. I’m sure the Lexus has the easier time. I was avg 11 mpg in the Tacoma while towing

What winch did you go with? Thinking about sticking one in the new bumper.
Never mind. Looks like the badlands winch. What are your initial thoughts on it?

The Harbor Freight Badlands 12K winch. I swapped the steel cable for synthetic.

    Too soon to say.
Appears as well built or better that Smittybilt.
Was very easy to re-clock the lever for engage/freespool.
Power cables appear to be of good quality. Stock 65' steel cable was what you would expect of it, too heavy and not long enough to be usefull. I think I bought a 110', give or take, of the synthetic, seems to fit fine. It'll be tighter when I get a chance to spool it on with a good load on it.
Hope it doesn't fall off during the re-spool.
