Exactly what I was thinking. ^

OP, what are you going for? Performance or aesthetics?

Aesthetics mostly. But I don’t want to cheap out either.

Do you think the jba’s would conflict with 285’s? Even with a negative offset? I’m running a -6 with my current set up.

If you ever sell down the road, the 5100s will be more appealing than blocks. At least to me.

It doesnt, I mounted these a couple weeks back. They're 285/75 16s and they didn't hit the UCA's. Zero offset Fx Pros as well, you should be fine with -6 offset.

Thinking you are correct. Going with a 5100 based lift. Looking for 1.5"-2.0" lift coils. Then will go progressive AAL, not sure if I will leave the overload.

This is probably a long shot, but did you get that 3” front and 2” rear lift with 285/75r16? And if so how does it fit and look?

I didnt want spacers/blocks & went for a Toytec Lift. I got kit for $755 (no shipping needed) during the Black Friday - 15% off sale. I wasn't going for looks entirely. Mainly performance here in the mountains. I did get SPC UCAs & had seized LCAs. Plus some Wheelers goodies & an ECGS Bushing. That being said - it looks damn good.

    Before:

    After:

My build was an Toytec AAL & rear boss shocks. Got my new to me 2015 oem springs for $50 - under 40K on them. I got @ least 1.5" in the back with the shell - so I'm pleased. I'd go 285's if I got HD Dakars though.

I did not get the top plate spacers on my coilovers, just the bro lean plate. Wasn't worried about the full 3" in the front, as these will be my first coilovers & only 620 coils.

Here's the kicker - I'm on 265/65r17 & you can tell. I think it's good to look at how small they are with a lift. Once I run these tires some more & let my wallet recover - 265/70r17 Duratracs incoming!

Fucking seized LCAs - if you do go with a decent lift, keep $500 - $1,000 ready for unexpected shit.

Don't be afraid to replace the old shit either. Spend some :spending: on your baby.

I've been looking at that same kit. Did you go first or 2nd clip for the front?

Some of my choices & things you should consider. You going to get the aluminum coilovers spacers? I opt’ed not get them & saved $$. Spacers = Bad imo. I did pay extra Toytec to assemble them - it’s a must. 2nd clip - all the way - higher the better. Plus I’m a double cab V6. I didn’t get the aluminum top hats & glad I didn’t. The aluminum top hats are sexy looking but I only got a new (used 2015 @40k) OEM leaf set & toytec aal, which paired nicely. I did local pickup (I’m in Denver) & on Black Friday for max savings. It was worth it as my first serious lift for my fishing & camping trips

Nope, I feel the same way about spacers so I am not planning on them. How much lift did it give you without them? Also, did you use the 5100's for back as well? How much lift did they give in combination with aal?

Here's my truck with mt 265 75 16 winters with a dobinsons 3 inch lift in the front. I rub 285s in the summer.

I run Bilstein 6112 on the 6th notches and Deaver U402 expedition stage 3 for about a 2 inch lift all around with 265/70/17 KO2's.

Without the spacers I didn’t get a full 3”. It’s very noticeable though & @ least 2.5”. But that’s okay that I didn’t get the full 3” because I have a V6 double cab & a shell. The aal wouldn’t give me a lot of lift in the back because of the shell. I got the boss shocks in the rear, but they no longer make them & its just 5100s now.

The kit has change quite a bit & but totally worth it. I got this kit because it came with eibach 620lbs springs. So if your on the fence with 600, 650, 700 lbs springs - eibach 620s are a great choice.

I just looked at the kit & the eibach 620s are on backorder. I’d call & ask for Hugo & talk with them first before you order. It’s a great lift kit for my first one! A few other items as well:
    Superbumps front & rear
Wheelers extend red brake lines front & rear
SPC UCAs & new OEM LCAs
    East Coast Gear Supply bushing
    Carrier drop & diff drop
    TRD grey rims
    265/70/17 wildpeaks
    TRD exhaust
    Cali Raised bed stiffeners
I’m sure I’m forgetting something else! Next is all my skids & exhaust reroute then RCI all the way cause I can do local pickup & skip shipping costs. That’s what I did with my toytec order. Always buy local if you can

You likely can mount those wheels and tires stock. So if you do nothing it works. If you want a different look but don’t care about performance then block it to your preferences. If you want good performance change out the suspension.
