    Part number ending in 387 is a 650lb spring and I think that's the max you can run unless you go to 8112

    @05prerun82 .. that's not how I interpreted above.
    650 is max for 6112

    650/700 for 8112

    Unless you'll made a homemade mad max style bumper that weights 800 lbs 650 should be more then enough to support any aftermarket bumper out there

    If they want to go against the manufacturer and distributors recommendations . Well shit, that's on them . Thinking more about the folks that don't want to go through the headache.
    Just wanted a resolution, an answer, a why at the end of the thread for future TW folks. :hattip:

    Suprised wheelers told OP 700 was okay. They have always given me good info. Headstrong knows their stuff. Think I may switch my next purchases over to them. Shipping a little more, but for the knowledge that comes with I'm good with it.

    But you still put 700 to try? You put a 7" tire on a 14" rim too?:rofl:

    Hey guys, I haven't got my truck in to the shop yet, but anyway, it all boils down to which retailer you go through. Wheelers offroad specifically advised I run the 700# springs, but Headstong offroad says it is a VERY bad idea to run 700# on the 6112s. I bought mine through Wheelers offroad because I live pretty close to them and I saved a lot of money on shipping, especially the freight shipping I saved on my ARB bumper. And they gave me a discount on all my purchases for buying the bumper and shocks.

    If you read the 700lb fine print it says they are to be used with 8112 and the 650lb are to be used with 6112

    Yeah, I don't have Bilstein coils on my 6112s, I have Eibach coils. Maybe the Eibach 700# are ok to run with the 6112s, idk. :notsure:

    I wouldn’t be surprised if bilstein coils are just rebranded eibachs, they make the majority if not all coils on the market for our Tacoma’s. I’ve talked to you in the 6112 thread. I have 650 eibachs and no issue.

    Although I did not know you are an access cab. You didn’t show that in the other thread, I assumed you were a double cab. That might be the reason why you are lifted as high as you are. For the 3rd gen access cabs it is not recommended to run the top clip 6/5 setting. Just my thoughts as to why you are lifted as high as you are.

    Did the vendor know you were an access cab?

    I believe I specified it, to the vendor, but I'm not sure. I have an appointment at my local shop to have it lowered this Thursday. Probably gonna go with 1/2 settings, or 2/3 settings.

    Are you still running the 700# springs?
