They are made by Carney and can be found on Amazon. I got the 12-car years ago from the Exoticar warehouse but got the 10-car one two years ago.

Dislike this for sure. Plus it’s warming up and we are losing ice. Double dislike.

I like the Chevy SS you have in the second case, who makes it? Its funny, I also have a BTTF Delorean, and a Mad Max Interceptor. Speaking of model cars, I really have to dust mine off, they look like the have been driving during the winter .

Are you losing out after placing an offer and someone is sweeping in with a higher offer? Like it's shady that you got your deal and then oh wait, no you didn't? Have you looked into a buyers agent? We used one when we bought our house and it was a completely unique experience.

No . We lost it after meeting the offer to have it not go to market. They took it to market, showed it, and we made an ultimatum offer or we're were out. No more games. They verbally accepted and then the next day retracted. We told them they had until 12 or we we're retracting due to poor ethics, and that any future business would be done at 5k less. today they reached out to see if we we're still interested, and once we reluctantly said we want a deal within an hour and a half, they sold to another off.

So 3 times the deal should have been wrapped up. Really terrible people in regards to the seller and their agent on how they conduct business

The Impala SS? It's UT. Which BTTF DeLorean do you have? I've got the Sunstar in 1/18 and I've also got another one in 1/16 that's plastic. The quality is meh, but the size is cool. It also lights up and makes noises which is neat. I really like the Hot Wheels DeLorean (as well as their KITT and Herbie) but the price is throwing me. Which Mad Max Interceptor do you have? I've got the Greenlight one, and it kills me that it doesn't have the white letter tires. AutoART did the MM2 / Road Warrior version, but it was pricey when it first came out and is stupid pricey now. I believe they also finally did the MM1 version rather than the resin kit people were selling, but it was stupid pricey for what it was.

I collect 1/18. I got my first one when I was real young, and it got wrecked because I would play with them. The orange Camaro is probably from 1993-1994.

I still have a few different ones I'd like in a perfect world (the Kyosho 300ZX and Supra as well as the Revell NSX), but they're a hard purchase to justify at this point in the game.

Sorry to hear that. I agree that real estate agents in general are sleazy. When I purchased my home the selling agent was a PITA to deal with. I was dealing with an agent (not a formal buyer's agent, but a local agent who was showing me homes) and we had a private showing scheduled for my house. When we were in the backyard another couple came and looked at the home at the same time. That's just bad etiquette and my agent was really upset. I ended up going in at full price as I had been looking for quite some time and the market was starting to heat up and my house was quite reasonably priced. With the rates being what they were, we were talking something like $5/mo per thousand of value, so losing a house over $5,000 didn't seem worth it to me.

But after the sellers accepted my offer they had commitments that delayed my inspection until the 9th day of the 10 day window to sign the P&S. They were trying to pressure me when I asked for an additional day to digest some of the information from the inspection (prior to the inspection actually happening) and per the agent they refused to answer some of the questions the inspector wanted me to ask prior to the inspection. I thought at the time the sellers were being difficult. When the inspection was happening the sellers ended up being home briefly and my agent chatted them up. They hadn't been told I asked for more time, nor had they been sent the questions and actually answered them to my agent. The seller's agent showed up and was PISSED my agent even talked to them.

It's all a game. Granted, like I said, I wasn't a huge fan of anyone in the process, but bad ones are out there.

As an aside, to those who bought homes, it's typical for the agent you deal with to gift you some sort of small trinket as a way to say thanks, right? I didn't get my trinket and I always found that weird. Yes, I know how obnoxious that sounds.

I never knew about the "trinket" thing and then about a month after we were settled in this williams sonoma gift basket arrives...it was huge..from our agent. It was at least $200 worth of stuff. Great gift and of course we recommended her to anyone we could. She worked for us for 3 months to find the right house...it got to the point where we were feeling guilty about saying "Um...no" to all these houses but she was so patient. We were first time buyers going right to a house with no lease or home to sell so we had time. The house we bought ended up being a great deal but needing a lot of work that we couldn't really see when we bought it...15 years later I THINK...maybe we've finally got most of the stuff taken care of :)

One of my favorites was finally hanging our family name door knocker...because the original door couldn't hold one...

When my Mom and Dad bought their first house the agent gave them a sign for over the garage with their name on it. When they moved and went from a one car to a two car garage they had a custom sign made from the same craftsman that made the original. I begged my Mom for it as her house now doesn't have a garage. It was an emotional moment hanging it on my garage.

I'm still finding all the flaws on my house five years later. They're not fixed mind you, but I've found them? That's something, right? Today I was looking into combustion air vents for the furnace as MassSave made my house so tight it's an issue to a point.

Is anyone selling a third GEN double cab short bed truck cap? I’ve been trying to find one for a while with no luck. Would rather buy used than buying a brand new one. I have the blazing blue color but will take another color if possible. Does anyone have one for sale. I will drive from Maine all the way to Pennsylvania. I have cash in hand ready to go. Need one ASAP. Let me know thank you

The Delorean I have is the Hot Wheels Elite version (it has the hoverboard with it, and has Mr. Fusion on the back), and the Interceptor is the recent AutoArt release (clean version from the first movie). Both models are extremely detailed, but AutoArt does a really good job of making it close to perfect. If you want pictures, I can take some in the morning for you.
I wanted to build that 1/8th BTTF Delorean kit, but seeing the price and having to wait a couple of years to collect all of the parts, I couldn't do it.

Suuuuuper jealous of the AA Interceptor! My 2006 STi is AA and it was so close to the real car, it was unreal.

I never got a trinket from our agent! She was really good though, we were looking for quite a while and she was great with offering suggestions and advice. Especially when it came down to putting in the offer and asking for items for the seller to fix post-inspection. She had us write a letter to the seller because, at the time, we didn't know if we were buying from the older guy who lived there or if it was an estate sale by his kids. The listing agent was a great guy also so we got really lucky in that regard. It was the damn mortgage broker that was a PITA.

People buying houses from the general public (not a family transfer type thing) Get a damn buyers agent! I did real estate for 3 years or so in NC and so I know a little and have seen the good and the bad. But buyers agents are FREE, the seller pays their closing fees. They are required by law to work in your best interest and if they fuck around you can sue the shit out of them for it, or just complain and they will lose their license! You can be a nice person and just fire them and move on too if they didn't really do anything that bad. Going around trying to buy a house with no help these days isn't a smart move, there is a lot of b.s. contracts and regulations to jump through and a lot of games get played.

That said, if yours seems to not be getting the job done, fire them! In your contract you sign with them it should list the process for that. When signing it you can even add in your own clause for that. There are a lot of agents out there. 1/2 might be there just to say they have a job and keep busy for the day, maybe sell a few houses a year and are happy. 1/3 are either lazy, new or just not good at their job. That leaves a small portion left who are hungry, honest and will bust it for you. Those guys/gals are easy to find at any sort of community social event, and you should see their names on the signs around town.

We had to add the intake vent things, I forget the real name of it due to the tightness of the house. It's a good and bad thing to me, like yes it's great I'm not leaking all my heat and a/c, but I had to spend $$$ on this new system and installation too. I got a super cheap version so it won't take long to pay off, but my contractor was showing me some that heat the air before it hits your furnace so that it your furnace never has to work hard to heat cold air. I get that, but didn't think it would be worth it for our situation and the payoff wouldn't probably hit until I was out of there.

    Morning all.
Got done plowing last night and apparently forgot to shut the wipers off. Came out this morning and started the truck and they start wiping again even though they were frozen in from last night's rain, and both wiper frames blew up
Fortunately I had a spare set in the garage, but it was a hell of a way to start the morning.

So, my Makita batteries are getting really tired. I only have a drill from them, the rest of my stuff is corded. I think I'm going to use that as an excuse to buy a complete set. Looking at this. Seems to have the best mix of what I will actually use and a good amount of batteries: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauk...5-0-Ah-Batteries-2997-27-48-11-1852/308088150

Anyone know of an even better set that I should look at instead?

I would say find a kit for a little less $$ that skips the trim saw and the grinder; my experience with cordless versions of those tools is that they've got an extremely limited battery life because they're such energy hogs.
