    Of course not.
They have bigger fish to fry, like all the social injustice and political unrest. They just heard something worse about whatever the President did and some homie got bitch-slapped by a cop.

This isn’t the first time this shit has happened over the past year or so, I don’t really understand how ignorance is still a legitimate excuse for this. Homie gets a pass because he didn’t know it was bad and has a bunch of followers? He doesn’t deserve death threats for this but he doesn’t deserve a pass either.

Also, people are saying to sand it down...so in order to fix his mistake he has to vandalize it again? I understand removing it will hopefully prevent others from doing the same but this is all over the place.

I don’t know how to read, luckily it’s 2019 and there is text to speech, otherwise I’d probably be driving a Prius.

Welcome to the Mendez family. We can either tattoo your chest with "mendez" if your a dude or if your a chick you'll have to shave your eyebrows and we tattoo those on.
If your non-binary, you get a prince alberto.

Are you joking? In another post you said you where a climber.

Do you remember the Wings of Steel controversy? Yeah, the one where ropes where literally shit on because some Cali guys had a problem with what some CO guys where doing on El Cap?
Ever heard of Ken Nichols? The guy received death threats and a punch in the face for his bolt chopping efforts. He was also eventually convicted of defacing public property and fined.
How about Potters little exploits at Delicate Arch? You know, the one he lost almost all his sponsors over?
The Ivan Greene chipping incident? The one he also lost sponsorship over and is still trying to atone for?
Then there's Kinder and Pringle cutting down a two trees in Tahoe to make a new route "safer". Kinder posted public apologies, donated to the Access Fund and Sierra Club and kept his face out of sight for a year.

All those incidents took place from 1982 to 2011. There was tons of outrage. All of it deserved.

So ask yourself why is this any different then what goes on in the climbing community you claim to be a member of?

More than likely, depending upon the weather patterns and rainfall, this scraping will be gone relatively soon anyway.

All these ethical discussions make me think too hard, it hurts me. I'm now a victim.

If I take the good with the bad but I take 'em both. what I have?

The rain and weather should not have to make it go away..cause it shouldn't be there in the first place. That's the whole point:annoyed:

Yeah a while back we discovered there is daily acid rains here. Also they aren't scratches, it's just mud. So it's impossible to go back to the spot... he promised with full responsibility to tell us this.

‘Influencers’ pawning off shitty swag to build their ‘brand’ (see: internet ego).

I’ve always thought the idea of these soft serve turds broing it out for any variety of followers was stupid and bound to result in something unfortunate. Even more insulting that they’re getting compensated from sponsors while (not for) doing this.
