I’m just here for the shiz show to be honest. But here is a neat pic of what you are talking about. This one was at an undisclosed location in a certain state possibily near Utah. Wouldn’t want to get too specific for anyone to add their hashtags to it now.

Someone should go load this rock up and sell it as abstract art.

That's actually what a group of Mormons set out to do and were semi-successful at in Arizona during the 1920's.

Yeah I have photos of myself when I was seven years old at the pueblo they vandalized. There used to be a visitor's center where they educated other future young artists on conservation.

Getting so worked up over something so insanely minuscule has me beyond confused. Really? 1k replies over a few letters in a rock? The damage done by the tires and rock sliders, and emissions from the vehicles is far worse than what this dipshit did. Yes, materials may have been removed... but isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black when people screw these trails up consistently with their vehicles?

People need to nut up, leave Starbucks and get over this. I promise you he won’t do it again after the insane uproar over this. If this is honestly as big of a deal as this thread makes it, vehicles need to be barred from Moab.

Everyone bitching about the environment while driving trucks with >15 MPG and eroding mountains in the name of " designated trails"

We've always hated them. This isn't the thread for hating on them - this is the thread for hating on TCMBST.

    One hate per thread, please.

That's not the point I'm trying to make. You guys hate on this one guy just because he's famous and easy to take shots at.

I sorta thought the same thing when I thought about the countless YouTube ‘influencers’ that are tagged here regularly that giggle about breaking down on trails and running fluid all over the trail as they limp their rig back home because they were doing some dumb shit.

There’s being respectful and leaving things close to the way you found them, and then there are things like this. I think the biggest issue I have is that this clown monetizes off people who think he’s cool or something and does shit like this.

I agree the response is completely blown out of proportion, but I do believe the concern is valid. Trails will always be trails, they are meant for traffic, the idea is not to fuck up stuff that isnt meant to be fucked up. Ill see if this makes sense... you cut your steak on a plate right? or use a cutting board? I dont know anyone who would use their counter as a cutting board or their dinner table to cut their steak. Use whats allocated for what youre doing and leave the rest alone.

I don’t disagree with you. I’ve never gotten out of my Jeep on a Texas trail to etch my name on a tree. But the response here is just batshit.
