Huge thanks to @Aw9d yesterday for the tuning session. The Taco sounds sooooo much better. :headbang: took an oscilloscope to each channel from the amp and got rid of the all clipping. Dialed in the amp and the headunit.. and added some screws to the sub box to reseal it. It was rattling badly and had some air leaks. The Sundown just bangs too hard. Lol it's all tight, clear, and punchy sounding now.

Anytime brother! Thanks for the help with the window motor. It's been a long time since we hung out and knocked out a few projects!!!

I love tuning with that O-Scope. It's just so much fun to see people's faces when they see they can 1. crank the HU all the way up and 2. hear how crispy/clean their setup can be. I'm really impressed with those Type-R speakers. Little bastards thumped!

Definitely! We need to do that more often man. Let me know when you have projects.. I'm always down to help.

Being able to see it is really satisfying. I listened to another song I'm really familiar with on the way to work this morning.. and it's crazy the sound difference. Although it may not be as boomy.. I can hear how clear it is. Especially up front and from the tweeters. No more distortion or crackling from high hats and cymbals. The sub is so clean sounding now too. Love it

Less work to put the sub amp under the seat. Otherwise you need to run all the speaker wires to under the seat.

Speaking of sound systems. I'm still mad at the garbage install that was done putting this HU in my xterra. I'm glad the previous owner paid for it because as much as it annoys me I didn't directly pay for that install.

Its less ghetto rigged now thanks to @DevilDocAZ but I will need to find a "new" radio surround/faceplate at some point to fix it all the right way
