So is it 100% imperative that I need to remove the bumper cover?

I looked at the link that was posted for the install.... seems they only remove it to cut off whatever needs to be cut, not sure why you need to remove it for that.
Hopefully one of the guys that received theirs already can answer?

Oh, I think the aluminum frame piece needs to come out. Maybe that's why you need to take off the bumper cover.

That is the main reason. You could prob cut it with it on pretty easily, but to remove the crash bar would be tough.

Yes. You will not be able to remove the lower valance clips and trim the bumper cover properly without removal. Removing the cover is easier than trying to work around not removing it. It's held in with some screws and clips and comes off in about 5-10 minutes if you know what you're doing.

Haven't had a chance to go down to powder coat yet, but they havent called or messaged me to tell me theres parts to be picked up. I'll go check when I finish my lunch. If there's some done then theres still a chance of getting some shipped out this afternoon

I’m installing mine on Friday or Saturday. Depends on when I get my 700 lb springs installed on my coilovers.
