I occasionally carry an HK45C. Can't argue with the quality. The trigger is *extremely* touchy about technique; I'm not sure how it compares to the P30 (and of course, to make matters worse, you get HK's "we have 17 trigger configurations for each pistol" feature to deal with).

Most days though, my XDm 3.8 is what rides along, because I do my best shootin' with it for sure.

I got a spare 30cal barrel and some dumb part of me is wanting a bolt action in 300blk. So either I can build a action and make it a pistol or go with a Howa mini action for like $400 and just SBR it later.

Depending on your machine skills, an integral form 1 can built to 16" barrel for it would be dope.

Oh, well I have a CNC mill i run at work, only problem is this is a Tikka CTR 308 pull off so I would have to machine the entire OD then do the integral part. I wish Tikka would sell a action only.

The CTR barrel profile is pretty thing though at the end, maybe 5/8 to 3/4" to work with which wouldnt leave much room for the baffles.

Updated my upper this weekend. New Battle Arms 223 Wylde barrel, gas block, muzzle brake, rail, BCG and there new charging handle. Pic sucks but the stuff coming out of battle arms is top notch.

These new rails where the gas tube passes through have made uppers why to easy to build. I used to dread lignin up the nuts and crap. Now they pretty much fall together. Yeah the port cover is a tad loud but V7 no longer makes the flat one in OD Green so F it! LOL...

Buddy just sold me a Glock 43 that’s had about 20 rounds through it for $200. Good deal? Never really looked at glocks but it seemed like a good deal lol

Seems sketch, that cheap for a 43 anywhere, much less in Cali.

Been considering selling the chassis for the Axis. Served me well but I want to take it back to a stock with a DBM, maybe even throw a brake on it for that "feels like 22lr" recoil. Plus finance some mods for the Marlin for appleseed purposes.

Sorry, .223 Axis, the chassis is an XLR Element with the Ergogrip and Tactical Lite buttstock. I like the adjustability, but I don't do enough competition for it to do more for me than a good boyds stock with some bottom metal for the aics magazine. Plus the skinny barrel in the chassis looks silly.

Ive always floated to the KRG chasis so you dont have to have 100% aluminum all the time. I had a xray but it was a bit to much for me. Enjoying the Bravo I have now, but a stock swap on a Tikka is almost a must. I cant stand the factory ones.

For that sort money, I'd half expect you to get a gun with a filed serial # that had all of its 20rds fired at a drug deal gone sour.

I’ve gotten a few good deals like that from friends. Not always sketchy. Hell a used glock isn’t worth much more than 350-450 bucks anyway so it’s not like it’s incomprehensible
