    Not much stock left.
Ha! No, wasn’t trying to suggest you were coming across as a know-it-all. I liked the sound of the advice you were giving.

The explanation you give above makes sense to me. I will definitely reach out to Deaver. I may have to name drop :D. They may have someplace in SLC They can point me to. Thank you for the thorough explanation.

And nice rig you got there.

Ok guys, so I got it back from Lexus and its aligned and riding like a King!!I have only a couple small things I need to figure out and I think I'll be good to go!First off I've got to do some trimming, oddly enough I didnt have any rubbing whatsoever before at a 3 inch lift and with the same 285s but I guess it's the wheel spacers that created this. Its mostly in the edge of the fenders and the cab mount. I played with the dremel some yesterday evening and got some of it taken care of and will put heat to it tonight and clean up the rest of the fender issues.I will be ordering some cmc plates today to knock that out soon too but its barely getting in there at full lock so I'm planning on doing it at the end of the month when I have some off time.Jow, here's the part I need help with.

When I'm driving at higher speeds (Interstate)and I hit certain bumps I get a jar/pop in the front. I have went over every nut and bolt on it and nothing is loose. I have observed every inch of it and I cant make sense of anything that would be doing this other than one possible thing.

Is it possible that I am making contact with my front bump stop and that is the noise?I had wheelers superbumps put on and after getting under there realized they are probably within an inch of my lower control arm. I know these things are said to be better than stock but they seem awful firm to the touch, and im just assuming that if its smacking that thing at those speeds then it could very well make a noise. I'm just not sure if it would be the pop like noise I'm getting, but when I imagine the lca hitting that based on the way it feels I think I ha e a legitimate suspicion. I will add some pics below and the last one to show the bump stop space from lca. Thanks for any advice,I plan to jack it up and put the factory ones on and see if this continues once I find a place that this happens consistently and I can mimick the sound.Overall I must say I am happy so far,I think they may break in and soften up a bit but in those rough places that beat me up before it just floats right on through.

Curious, what springs do you have? 600/700? After browsing through this thread this jarring seems to somewhat common...which seems odd for such a top of the line product.

First off, good looking truck!
I'm glad that alignment fixed some of your issues, but looks like they set up alignment as for stock truck. Your JBAs require more caster, like waaay more. Not sure about popping, but proper caster would make it more comfortable at highway speeds.
Those are halfway decent numbers for JBA uca's. Here is a thread you could compare it to JBA Offroad Upper Control Arms And Suspension MEGA Thread BS thread

I had a random 'pop' after throwing on King coilovers too. Finally fixed it by loosening the sway bar mounting bolts that go into the relocation brackets for the reservoirs and re-tightening everything.

Since then, I've pulled the sway bar completely, but you might want to start there...

    I have 700lb coils.
Hey thanks and I appreciate the advice on that, I had no clue. It rides like a king:bananadance:but I'll do some research and reach out to Marlen and see what he thinks about all of this. It will probably be a couple weeks before I can get it back on the rack but that'll give me time to learn more about what you speak of!!
I appreciate that, would have never thought that but I'll check that out if it happens again much More

Yes that is correct, DSM told me that with thevHd full leafvpavk if I didn't do a 1 inch extension on it I would absolutely destroy my shocks over time. Those guys are very helpful and seem very knowledgeable.

Hey guys! So just searched for a king suspension thread for 3rd gens and here I am! I’m about to pull the trigger on king extended travel coilovers and the rear shocks. Just wondering if the rear shock will work alright with the icon aal I have as far as shock height and travel go. Also wondering how necessary bump stops are for this set up. Thanks!

Yeah it works fine with that setup. That’s what I’m running. Extended rears with Icon 3 AAL. New bump stops aren’t necessary but I got them and would recommend it. The exposed shaft can look short and some have said they worry about bottoming out which I never have even with stock bump stops. But always good to have peace of mind and improve the dampening when bottoming out. I got the Timbrens Active Offroad bump stops w/U-bolt flip kit.

Ok cool. Thanks for making my decision easier! I’m assuming you didn’t have to get extended brake lines either?

Nope, the 3 AAL originally lifted about 1.5” but now has settled about a hair over an inch. From what I’ve heard you don’t need extended unless you go 2” plus. @state48overland would you agree with this statement?

100% agree with you. We ran the rear RXT leaf pack at option 2...so its 2.5" over stock in the rear with some remaining slack at full droop or whatever the leaf pack would allow for droop-with stock brake lines.

Here's a messed up story but good intel on how solid the factory lines are-completely forgot to disconnect the brake line from the axle. We helped a buddy install his RXT pack left at option 1, so just under 2" of lift. Without shocks connected, we had the axle sitting on the floor jack and were repositioning the spring perch to center pins. The damn axle rolled off the jack (had an RCI diff skid plate too)-ended up on the floor. We scrambled like hell to get it back on the jack because the brake lines at that point finally stretched tight. To our surprise, no breakage or leaks luckily. All said and done we figured falling to the floor-with the height setting on the jack stands under the frame was equivalent to 5" of lift with axle droop-wont make that mistake again. Personally, before I purchased SUA springs and extended brake lines, I just made a brake line extension using two pieces of scrap metal. Over time my weld tacks didn't hold-so I tapped a screw in the center...If I had a solid piece of metal I would have used it. I just kept it installed since its not harming anything. For about $1.00 you could get some steel and make an extension for a little extra insurance.

Looks Great! But why 700# ? you don't have much heavy stuff on your truck cap. Just curious.

Soo all you Kings guys...got some questions.

Can I run 35” tires with a king setup?

Looking at 2.5 ext travel on all 4 corners, icon billet uca, and RXT leaf pack.

What issues am I going to run into. Guy at Kings says I can’t fit 35s with this setup...but I swear I see dudes all the time on here running that setup. Advice? Thoughts?

    Stick with 285/75/17s
34" for mid travel builds. Long travel just get some glass fenders and get after it with 35's.
For mid-travel, if you like massaging metal and don't mind cutting...or over pre loading the shock go for it. It doesn't bother some folks but I wouldn't do it for an extra 1/2 " of ground clearance over the next size tire down.

I’ve got 16s, volks, so 34s are out of the question. Either 33s or 35s. I’ve already cut and hacked everything for clearance. Just worried about overall diameter but also don’t want to be riding at maximum travel.

I’m doing 285/75/17s. Saw Taco Twonz and loved it.
