Might pick up some tires from a buddy tonight and go back to the stock alloys. Don't want the spacer life anymore haha. So if anyone wants some 31x10.5r15s on Pro Comps they will be for sale :)

Is anyone interested in the Backroads Mapbooks? I’ve been in contact with them if they could offer us a volume discount. I just want to see if there is enough interest to pursue it. I would still need to work out details with them, but they seem to be willing to give a discount depending on what and how many we would want.

Please add your name below and which book you are interested in:
    1. @weight - Southern Ontario
    2. @Bocsy44 - Ontario Bundle
    3. @Toms2Yotas - Ontario Bundle
    4. @dreadedyota - Ontario Bundle. any discounts on other provinces or just Ontario?
    5. @Taco-Bell - Northwestern Ontario
    6. @ODSC1 - Ontario bundle
    7. @Thyces - Ontario Bundle
    8. @tgelata - ontario bundle

Might be in for some other provinces too

Let's aim for the 30th... Now where to rally point this? We could go with the town of Arthur...or make it more interesting with the Cheltenham Badlands?

Well If we run from Cheltenham Badlands and have clear roads on certain stretches of this route it's about 3.5-4hrs to Johnston Harbour - Pine Tree Point Provincial Park. That's not counting stopping for Timmies or checking out Skinners Bluff or other things.

I haven't been to the Cheltenham badlands since before they closed it and did all that work, maybe 10 years ago.

You have me beat. I've never been there and only discovered that it even existed last year. It's an hour and a bit away from Waterloo, so I'm not sure if some of the people in KW and westwards wouldn't prefer meeting in Arthur and heading north from there.

The map is a tentative route. picked a few roads less traveled to make it interesting (like cutting through Alan Park Conservation Area.. see picture below)

    Well this sucks
Portion of Minden Hydro trail is getting closed

That opening area is this [IMG]
Shortly after that curved water crossing. Area opens up to this if you continue on the trail you can see on the map screenshot I posted where the trail technically crosses into the park for a portion. It is at this point that they are now saying the trail ends. Because they want to make the provinical park an active one.

Does suck but most of the trail is still open which is nice. Issue is if they close this now, they’ll keep closing more i think which would really suck, minden is great, easy ish trail with lots of good off shoots

the issue I see is that now means the camp site is off limits. which is bullshit cause the camp isn't part of the park.

I agree, but i hate to say it. What kind of barrier are they going to put up that will keep people out? People will go past it, then the park people will get pissed and close it, i can see it unfortunately

Depends if they put a sign or gate.

There's already signs at the end that people don't respect so I wouldn't doubt a gate will come and they'll only give hydro access.

I just sent the notice to one of my Land Rover friends to spread the word and see if anyone from that group can attend the public meeting.
