Hmmmmm, don't a lot of guys complain about a speed bump clunk with OME setups? I know there are threads on here about it.

 

That will look cool with some of those old style wood clothes pins on there.

 

Yeah that's the internal limiter clunking when they fit full extension. That's what my guess is! But we'll see, I'll go over all the nuts and bolts in the front and torque it all down, and see if it persists.

 

So how much lift did this net you?

 

None! Leaf springs provide lift. All shocks to is provide dampening to those leafs. Like when you see a truck/car driving down the road that's bouncing all over the place, more than likely their shocks are shot and they can't control the bouncing of the springs.

But these dampen the ever living fuck out of the back end. It rides so smooth.

 

So no lift then huh? I was hoping to see some 37's on there.

Trimming? I say removal. Just take the bed off and the front fenders too.

 

What about the firewall???

 

We have fire extinguishers. Who needs a fire wall? Besides I am pretty sure people just beat the shit outta them and drive them back. If you can relocate a cab mount you can surely nudge a fire wall.

Is this overkill?

 

Dude sick find and off the top of my head that looks to be the same bolt pattern as the typical 9,500 lb winches gonna do the maths. There is no such thing as overkill with a winch.

 

It's for winching your truck up a tree to keep the bears out of your cooler.

 

It also appears to draw the same about of amps as smittybilt winches, according to their used manuals. I’m curious on the weight of the winch.

Edit: 68 with syn and 104 with steel. That’s really not that heavy with syn.

 

That reminds me of what this question.

Do you know how to tell the difference between a brown bear and a black bear?

 

Right!!!!! This has me really curios about the type of motor and transmission they are running to get that kind of torque out of them

If you're running away from one and you climb a tree a black bear will climb it after you and a brown bear will just knock it down.



The reality is if you look at them enough you can tell by body shape, size, head, and temperment.
