I just traded my 15 Tacoma for a 19 TRD Sport 4x4, what should I do first? I would like to add a hard bed cover, and looking for input on best mods!

    Welcome to TW.
Whichever mod best suits your need would be one of the top mods you should do first. Tires might not be a bad idea if you plan to offroad, I see you already have a cover planned.
Also not a bad idea to pay down the loan with the money instead if you don't truly "need" mods (that is if you financed). I'm holding out on big mods and will use "mod money" and throw it at the loan instead.

This is my plan, other than a bed cover and small stuff like flaps.

    OP, new truck looks great!

All I've done to mine so far were for practical reasons...tonneau cover, Toyota rubber bed mat (from my '15, fit perfect) and AVS vent visors. I would have done some Husky mats, but mine came with some pretty decent Toyota rubber mats that seem to be doing the job just fine.

You don't NEED to go crazy with mods. Of course, it's cool if you want to. And can afford it. Spending much time here can be dangerous to your bank account :spending:.

I'll probably end up doing wheels when I need new tires.

Nice color! Ive been happy with my backflip mx4 cover. It did come with free metal shavings in the box though, only negative so far.

Center console divider thingy, rubber bed mat and side steps for the wife.
Bed mat and center console divider thingy. Less than a hundred bucks give or take and is a good start.

Best mod? If you're able... Pay off the truck completely, thus giving you the pink slip completely in your name.

How about a hard tonneau cover, bed mat, WeatherTech floor mats, WeatherTech window visors, meso customs ultimate dome and map lights, TRD Pro skid plate and grille for starters. Just do what you are comfortable with and enjoy it. Congrats!

I had covers on my first two tacos and now that I have changed over to caps for my current two, I will never go back. Just something to consider.

What were the first things you modded on the 15? I'd say stick with what you did before.

WOW - so many suggestions but you did ask. ;)
CONGRATULATIONS on the new Tacoma. I hope you love it as much as I do mine.

Seeing that you installed an Extang Solid fold 2.0 I would suggest next either a factory bed mat ($80) or a BedRug ($105 - $429).

Then OVTune ($600 - $770) and yes it IS WORTH it! This is the way the truck should have run from the factory. By far the best mod I have installed.

MESOCUSTOMS has AWESOME stuff but it can be hard to acquire as it is limited.

This isn't your 1st truck so I'm sure you have a sense of how you want you truck to look and perform.

Best of luck in your modding adventures. Keep us posted on your progress.
