$40 sounds like a fair price to me also for the DIY kit. Let us know when you will begin to have these DIY kits available, until then, I wait patiently! :pccoffee:

That looks really good. Was thinking of something similar.
Hopefully I can install mine this weekend if we don't get more snow.

Four sets?!?! I haven’t done it but would be cool things I’ve thought of. The side of a pair of sun glasses, laptops, key fobs, garage door opener. Heck almost everything. I screwed up one of my R’s so I only have a TD left, wha wha. But they are cheap. Just TRD everything!!! Not even your stuff, just brand others peoples stuff!

I just ran out to the truck and installed it. Super easy. Now that I know how to do it, it’s a 5 min job. Very cool mod. Thanks Meso! 55477C7F-A714-41B4-A381-C555960937B3.jpg 32CB0376-136C-4298-8ADE-C7FE5EB5B371.jpg

Yeah that was the head scratcher for me. I ended up popping out the ECT switch then fished the supplied wiring harness through the ECT hole with one hand while the other hand was under the QI charging pad. I wriggled the wire until I felt it and pulled it through.

Full disclosure: I tried to get my hand behind the ECT button for about 10 min. That just didn’t work with full size hands. :)

Excellent! Looks great! Plus it frees up a switch location. I’m wanting to add headed seats and it will be nice to have a blank spot for one of the switches.

I just put my switch back in. I still have 2 open spaces in my cubby panel. Only added 1 switch so far for my mirror ditch lights.

Looking great guys! So I tossed the idea around in my head today and I think I’m going to offer a DIY kit only.
Reason being..I am way too busy with other projects and logistics would be a nightmare(tagging each persons shift knob without getting mixed up, post dating shipping tag, etc)
What I WILL do is put together a little DIY video(kind of like iFixit for iPhones) in how to disassemble the pro knob and install my kit. I designed the stealth button to drop right in.... there is literally 0 modifications you have to do to the knob. If you can route the wire up to the dash, you can install the switch.
They will be available in single button and dual button Kits. Both versions will plug into the ECT, but the 2 button will have 2 bare wires on the other end to tie into the accessory of your choice;intercooler sprayer, next song, reverse cam, whatever.

    Let me know your thoughts!

this will probably lead to a better profit margin with all the time you would spend working on other people's knobs...giggity...
