The first Crawlers & Coffee event was a giant success! What a great turn out!

 

Looks like a blast! Did you start this event? Is it something like Cars and coffee that you are getting rolling?

 

Yes. I started it. Donated a LED light bar of mine for a free to enter raffle to get people interested.

Yes just like cars and coffee. Play on words since people seem to show up to these events more than actual trail events. There's a trail event next month and I bet there is a better turn out from today's event than at that trail event.

 

MUCH better quality houses yesterday looking back in the main area the wife and I want to move to. We're waiting on one offer to counter back (asked for all parties highest and best) but we have 3 total offers in on our place and it's only the first week!

This describes his specialty or profession and his name. I thought.

I always respect people's privacy. So if they don't want to list their given name and want to use an alias instead, I can go along. As a matter of fact, even when I do know a person's true name and they don't use it openly I follow suit and don't expose it.

It really makes following conversations harder for me sometimes when names I'm unfamiliar with are used but I figure over time that will change.

I really need to start cleaning out the garage. Found some more stuff in the loft of the garage that I forgot about; spare CV, RGF body mount relocation, replacement LCA's. Wife was there and I didn't wanna bring all that down with her there That stuff needs to make its way into the Front and Rear bins I organized for the move. The buyers are renters now so moving day would be open, but still need to get shit done.

 

I'll trade you a randyfab sticker I was already going to give you, in exchange for the RGF mount

If you're anything like me when it comes to shit you've collected, you will be buying more bins to hide it it in to be able to move it

 

Moving is interesting. We keep booking tours with agents on Redfin and even our listing agent for our home and they all are telling me the same thing (heard from no less than 3 people; wife NOT included)

"If you want a house where you can fit into the garage, why don't you just lower the truck? Or remove the roof racks?"



WHAT!? My wife laughs at them for even suggesting that. She knows.

Por que no las dos? Why can't I have a big truck and a big garage I can pull into and make the truck even taller?? Ideally, I would like to find a place with a large garage already, or, a garage with no living space above, tear the roof off and make the door bigger. The place we are currently waiting to hear from has the latter.

Still no word for those playing at home.

 

Well, it's fantastic no matter what that progress is moving forward in a positive manner. The market is funny and like a roller coaster at times. I'm happy for you. I know how frustrating it can be. We got lucky with our house in that it was only 11 years old when we bought it and the seller wanted out bad. It still took us two full years to finally settle on the one we are in though.

Now, had I known then that we couldn't get cable and were stuck with sat service only, and that there is so much BS with a shared driveway, I would have looked elsewhere. Those two things are the vain of my existence right now.

We have a 2 car garage but the doors are only 6'-8", with a 8' ceiling. And yes, part of the garage is living space above. About half so not worth the money to change it. If I did anything I would just add a large carport. I have thought about that route. Build it myself and use materials that mimic the house so it ties in better and looks like it was part of the original construction.

If you have the money though a full fledged shop with a side or center post lift would be the shit. I think our time there is dwindling and we are sorta contemplating moving in about 10 years. I think it's time for a two car garage condo in an all adult community with someone else doing all the maintenance. I need more time to be able to wheel! And in places like SC & NC! Moab! But i'd be happy with the time to go to PA or WVA.

It happens. Happened to us twice. The one our agent said we were locked. BS. The other we really wanted and it got into a war between 4 of us, the other 3 got outta control so said F this and backed out.

There will be other houses. Best to try to look at them all with same easy come easy go attitude.

 

House touring tonight, tomorrow for a majority of the day and probably Sunday too. It's fucking crunch time to find something.

New grips and some green LEDs for the bike. Thinking of using my Rigid wire harness and switch from the DOT/SAE fogs I received and didn't use. Not sure when I'll get to the install with being in the middle of a move, but hopefully soon and possibly the first mod/bike mod in a new house!!

Got something else for the truck and ordered some more shit for the truck too.
