Yep. Front locked and I'm on 5.29 gears. Locking the front definitely causes things to break more but it's a small price to pay. I can't count the number of times I've been stopped by an obstacle then threw on the front locker and drove right out of it. It's just like any tool. It takes a little getting used to how to use it properly but once you do it's really nice to have available when needed.

nope, just wanted to see if you'd actually go pour liquid into your cup holder and waste 5 minutes watching to see if the level dropped

Thats true, and the low gears probably help you from breaking stuff too

Nah, life is all perspective. Thanks though, I just haven't gotten around to ask for them, but will.
Did I remember my first trip to Moab with her and it's a bone stock UNLOCKED LX450, only mud flaps pulled hitch receiver pulled. Didn't know any better and on Hells Revenge dropped down into Hells Gate and thought Holy shit what have I done. Crept along and we saw the exit and she almost started crying and I was like it's fine we got this. I peed a little bit I'm sure. I was one lucky SOB. We were like 26-27, damn I did some dumb stuff. Tons of fun and memories though, wouldn't trade it for anything

I just purchased a 2009 4Runner for my wife. The initial choices where 4th Gen 4runner, GX470 or LX470. She nixed the LX because of gas mileage. After a month of searching I finally found a mint 4th Gen that was overpriced but I still bought it. lol
