LOL, hey I figured I would throw it out there. I am very careful to not touch the painted surfaces with my nasty hands when doing anything with brake fluid.

That's pretty much it. It doesn't flow that fast, maybe 2-3 drips per second with the bleeder open. Just let it go for 5-10 minutes and the close the bleeder and make sure the reservoir stays topped off.

For whatever reason, modern stuff isn't as bad as it use to be. I've had DOT4 leak all over my bike fairing for over a week and there is not a mark.

I just shoved a pair of needle nose pliers in the end and stretched it a bit. It contracted and sealed perfect around the bleeder

So I unplugged the upper sensor on the clutch peddle to see if it would eliminate the lag in in the throttle response,no go!

However I did discover that once the truck is moving as slow as 2mph the lag is present.

Yes but, that upper switch might be open when the clutch is all the way out. Did you get the good ol meter out?

    It doe
by bypassing the sensor i got that snappy throttle clutch in or out. Went for a boot and found that all it did was made the rev hang worse.
Put it all back and did some more tests and found it was speed related.
I don’t understand why Toyota would have a snappy throttle when your stopped and not moving.
    Possibly for an initial thrust:confused:

Interesting. I suspected this about that switch when stopped, as you can push the clutch in just a little bit (not enough to disengage) and the response will be just as snappy as when it's to the floor. This rules out anyone thinking it's extra mechanical load from the trans slowing things down.

Maybe it's for making your dongle bigger at stop lights.... It probably just revs faster, hangs longer, and makes more noise.

I think it’s more like cutting emissions by like .0000000000000000000000001%

I’ve often wondered how mid grade fuels sell. My thoughts are most go cheep or to the highest octane, with mid grade the fuel could be old.

AFAIK, mid grade is mixed at the pump by blending regular and premium? It shouldn't be any older than either of the other fuels.

Why not flash to 93 FOB if you are going to be running 93 fuel?

I'm told it is mixed when it is pumped into the tanker at the truck rack.

    Thanks!

    @Tharris242

My info in the previous post was from a while back. I just did some googling and it confirmed mixing at the pump:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=is+....69i57j0l4.12191j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

There are a lot of sources there, but none that I would consider definitive other than BITOG. Although, that discussion didn't go in the direction that I had hoped.

Hmm. I may try this. I am in DE not sure on the quality of the gas.

Yup. I run the 87 tune and higher fuels if I can find it. Even on the stock tune, the truck likes 91+
