If you mean the black one in the mudding video, that's 1337Taco. I believe it was one from www.bajabumpers.com

No offense taken. I get that a lot actually! :p

I did the black grill mainly because I liked the way there was a solid flow of color with the black headlights. But all in all, I think the color matched looks best. If you get rock chips it doesn't show near as much, and it just has a "cleaner" look about it I think.

Yea rock chips suck. When I lived in Reno I got so many. My fog lights look like they got hit about 200 times each!:mad:

Where near Sonora were you at? I wanna go on a trail up on Sonora pass soon.

On the grill definitely sand it down a lot before you use primer and paint. I've used both Krylon and Rustoleum with painting. The nice thing about Krylon is it dries a lot quicker, but it seems like Rustoleum stands up a little better to the elements. Be careful if you want to do a second coat. Either do it in under an hour or wait a couple days, otherwise the paint will wrinkle.

I know where Cherry Lake is. I've been out there a few times with my dog hiking and on a trail closer to Tuolumne City.

Me and my buddy went up to Little Sweden (up HWY 108 on Sonora Pass) last month and had a blast! Lots of mud. I also know a good real easy trail way up on the pass with lots of awesome views.

o ok, and yea i was always wondering why the wrinkle affect happens hmm. but i think im gonna do my grill black first and then if i dont like it then i will just colormatch it. When you colormatched it did you go and buy the actual toyota paint or did you just get white from krylon?

o ok yea it was my first time there and loved it, cought a big 27 1/2" trout there. I wanted to do some trailing but could find anything. But yea I really want to try some stuff up here sometime. Im only a Prerunner so cant be anythin to big lol

Yeah, that's kind of the route I took with the grill. The white I used is just Krylon gloss white. It matched really really well with the Toyota white.

I think the trail in Eagle Meadows would be fine with a prerunner. There are a couple water crossings but they're no biggy.
