I THINK @HolyHandGrenade has the Icons. I could be mistaken. I like my JBAs. So far so good.

Very little holds up to being sandblasted by salt.

My sliders look like hell again. I'm gonna find something else to try this year.

yeah, but Total chaos paint or powder (whatever they do) holds up amazingly well from what i've seen.

My sliders are looking pretty decent for this winter. Self etching primer has been key

All of my armor is black. It has these really nice looking orange streaks going thru them. I should probably take care of that. Meh, warmer weather is coming.

Kinda the way I feel about it.

I'll probably just do some roll-on enamel this year, less mess.

I try to paint / remove rust twice a year. Once before winter, and in the spring right after winter.

All my armor and bumpers are the same black, so I just have a stockpile of black paint for whenever lol

I tried rustoleum's DIY bedliner and it might have ended up slightly worse than regular paint.

I hear about a lot of people using bedliner. I always wonder if it gets scratched. I'm sure it does. I wonder what it looks like when its touched up. I'm good with the black paint. There's probably 3 different color blacks on my armor at this point, but it gets rubbed off anyway... I use the armor for it's intended purpose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean my paint is fine all summer it's just the salt and shit on the highway that literally sandblasts the underside of my sliders. It's the no mudflap life.

Rustoleum bedliner gets scratched just as regular paint, depending on how severe it was, it's texture helps to hide some scratches. Also, seems that bedliner finish seems to fade a bit, so new spot fix is noticeable.
But then again I'm talking about skids, so that doesn't really matter.

BTW. I used self etching primer, and Rustoleum self priming bedliner, not the regular stuff, if that makes a difference

    87 fuel added as needed.
I know my friends have used the roll on stuff with an additive (name escapes me at the moment) and the metal is ridiculously nice after sitting outside for 3 years. No salt, but Id imagine it performs well...ill track it down.

Dakar standard duty. No one could get me the HD in a hurry. I'd do an AAL but my girlfriend needs new leafs when she lifts hers anyway.

We use a 2 stage powder coat that includes a durable clear coat. The added protection of the clear coat certainly makes a big difference in harsh climates. We've found it holds up well! Washing salt and grime off the components will help slow down the harsh effects.
