I also don't mod anything, I'd rather just keep it stock and fix what breaks :)

Are you using Corbeau seat rails? How is the build quality on them? They seem like a great value.

cron, did you ever post a pic of the back of this gem? been looking through here for it and don't see anything
have to ask about the fresh paint, did you re-stripe it?

    ----

anybody located near that 95.5 white xtracab in Colorado I posted about the other day. I am about an 8hr drive from Denver (7 if I haul it down I-80) got a real itch to take some time off and go check it out if its still available and see what is wrong with it

That's interesting, I wonder if he added them in or if it came that way from factory? Either way it looks really good!

    Pray it’s minor:
    CCFC68C5-45CE-4FBB-928D-1FA2DF1F3396.jpg

On here, they suspect it’s a fuel pump. (I spent much of the 2.5 hour wait on the interstate shoulder looking at that thread & reading stuff it could be on-line)

I know ZERO history of the truck’s maintenance before the last 2 weeks.
What I’ve seen looks promising- like it was well kept (even tow truck drive commented how good it looked structurally & couldn’t believe it was a 95- saying he thought he must have misheard 05).

Yes, used the Corbeau rails wit the LG1 seats.

Build quality is pretty good, bolsters are pretty high, so the driver side will collapse over time because
your butt gets dragged over the bolster. So I had the driver side bolster cut down and have no issues

    Ah ...
20 years ago, adding wood kits went through a HUGE phase. People tried to get me to wood-out my Miata.
It was the era of the first realistic looking plastic shells & trim- so wood & carbon fiber ones got REAL “hot” to have.

I painted the roof, hood, and bumper filler pieces only. Along with freshening up the grille, new headlamps, front bumper and a quick buff. Just wanted it to be more presentable. Here is a photo before:

And the only photo I have handy of the rear.... photo I took today after installing some flaps I finally tracked down and restored!

Man, I have never seen a front end chipped up that bad. Do you know what caused it to get that bad? Did you sand it all the way down to bare metal?

Im assuming the guy was a horrible tailgator haha. I originally thought the front had been wrecked and recieved a poor paint job, but all the vins were on the panels. I obviously had to sand the hell out of the roof but the hood I replaced. I am not that ambitious lol.

I was going to say it looks like it spent most of the time on country gravel roads?
Or following too closely on the BQE ?? witch is on my bucket list to drive the BQE whenever I can get to NYC and catch a Yankees/Royals series

sure wish they would've had a hood/bug shield protector
