Let me ask the girlfriend. Since I dragged her to LBL last weekend I'm not holding my breath, but I'll ask.

@ThunderOne Double date with one of the girls?

Is Dirt Devil a day trip from Nashville? After LBL I'm trying to keep the truck on dirt as much as possible.

It’s like 45 minutes from Nashville. Goes down franklin, Colombia to Howard county. easy water crossings nothing super technical.

    Fun drive,
Could go next weekend too on Saturday.

Your jeep friend needs bigger tires.

I'll reach out to my friend who just bought a first gen Raptor. He's been wanting to get it offroad and this would be a good starting point.

Definitely depends on the situation. But I guarantee you that a truck with lockers front and rear on shitty 31” all terrains will not do as well on nearly anything as the same truck with no lockers but 35” km3s.

depends on the terrain, if it was sloppy shit like at LBL then yeah tires for sure would be more important. At AOP though, I'd say lockers are more important

In order to use those lockers effectively at AOP, you either need bigger tires to give you the clearance, or a gnarly set of skids.

These aren’t two good parts to argue vs. these are more parts that need each other for the best performance.

Yeah I think if you've got one without the other you're not going to be as capable. Tires without Lockers are fine in muddy shit, but won't cut it on rocky shit. Lockers without tires won't cut it in the mud.

yeahh that's what I thought. I'm still looking at bumper options. Probably going to go with a high clearance option.. at the very least needs to wrap around
