Use Fluid Film, either in spray cans, or buy an applicator gun. Don't put Fluid Film on exhaust system or heat shields. I don't bother putting it on driveshaft or axle because rust wont hurt them. Bolts/clamps etc on them, yes. Shafts themselves, no need.

Don't use a wire wheel on brake or fuel lines or anything rubber.

Thanks! So fluid film is better than black undercoat spray paint

I prefer it. Not quite as thick if you need to remove some part to which it has been applied. Many other people on here swear by annual application.

It will come off if it gets high pressure spray with soap. I don't know about the black stuff you are talking about. Probably doesn't come off easily.

So the fluid film doesn’t dry? Do you have to reapply it every time you wash mud off from under your truck?

Dont use black rubberized undercoat. It will rust underneath and you wont know the wiser. Fluid film is what I use. Just be prepared with a few tarps and some clothes you dont like.

Apply then drive down a gravel road. It collects dirt and gets pretty tacky, but not dry.

ruined one of my favorite shirts last weekend changing out the bearings on my Kings...fucking things were covered in grease. Thought I was being careful but when I got inside I was covered in the shit lol. that stuff somehow always finds its way onto me.

I tried walking across the tarp I put under my truck after fluid film. It mustve been comical to watch, slipping every which way. It did wash out of my clothes surprisingly enough.

We get them in our neighborhood every so often, there are a few in the mountain range outside of LA where I live. But they're considered pretty rare here, definitely not legal to hunt...I think Utah has a much bigger population of them

I live at the S end of Indiana. Conservation Officer recently confirmed tracks about 2 miles from my house. Very recent arrivals to this area.

I think Indiana just opened up to out of state hunting or something, we were thinking about going up next year for a couple of days catching the shit out of them.

For people that removed their sway bar... did you notice the truck wandering more on the highway?

Not really, negative caster and not accounting for the crown in the road seems to have a bigger effect on this
