They do say to retighten everything after 100 miles or so once everything settles down. I put blue loctite on the clamp bolts when I installed it and clamped them down pretty good, so I haven’t noticed any loosening as of yet.

I did just recently get some nyloc nuts for the clamp bolts so I won’t have to worry about them loosening in the future. M10 x 1.25mm is the size in case you go that route too.

Finally had a few good days of warm weather. I think it’s looking great.
Seems that in order to get the Cab Panel to close to the point of depressing the seal makes it extremely difficult to turn the mechanism from the open to close position though.

Got my truck washed yesterday and noticed a little bit of leaking from both corners on the cab side. The bulkhead sits a little higher than the bed sides so there's a gap. Just need a little more silicone to fill it and should be just fine.

The cover has been great otherwise. Being able to make a Costco run and not having to go straight home to drop it all off has been awesome!!

It states in the installation instructions that it is expected and to retighten the clamps after 100miles. I think I will also go with Loctite after I retighten at 100miles

I'm wondering if the loosening of the clamps isn't due to the seal "settling" into a more compressed state.

I bought one of the GB HD's and its being Line-X'd now. Hopefully it turns out well.

Did anyone get the recall hardware? It's two metal cable ties that goes onto the cover closet to the cab

Yup. Easy install. One person can do it as long as you do one side at a time.

What is this "recall hardware" you speak of?
    What does it do/fix?
Are these part automatically being sent to owners? (group buyer)

The recall hardware are cables that attach from the center support panel to the panel closest to the cab. This is in case, for people that do not attach the safety latch and do not lock the cover, that if the panel flies off, that the cables will catch it.

Mine showed up automatically about a week and a half after I registered the cover online at the diamondback website.

Since there are no upcoming group buys (as far as I know), Where is everybody getting their DBs? Real Truck has an SE for $1668.44 shipped and an HD for $2092.44 shipped. Is that the going price? Just like everybody else I’m trying to save as much as I can for future mods!

I purchased my DB SE outside of the group buy from Real Truck. Zack and the guys at Real Truck were able to help me out. I would go through them again for any of my future purchase. Just shoot them a PM to see how they could help you.

Sorry for some delays in replying. I'm just now getting back and caught up through my PMs. Shoot me an email at: kyle.carson@realtruck.com and I am happy to help out. I'll be honest, the group buy had some great pricing, but I will still make sure you still can get a good deal.
