Welcome to this little corner of the inter web
    ...from just over the border.

Some folks put down Connecticut but hey at least CT has lower taxes compared to NY.

Give our new governor time. This place will be no better than Detroit. A hollowed out shell of the great place this state used to be.

Usually I'm an optimistic man, but after Malloy crippled us, we basically voted in a clone. So my hopes are not high...

Good morning CT & just over the borders.
I don't mind the road tolls - so long as they remove the road infrastructure taxes from my gas purchase..... :notsure:

Today's mod: Installing a dual USB charge port in the back of the center console. With some help from a buddy that used to specialize in electrical automotive work. All it'll cost me is $8 for the outlet, around $4 worth of electrical components that I was able to get from work, and a 12 pack of Cold Snap as labor payment.

How do you figure more traffic? The new tolls are driven through at 70mph. No lanes anymore

Everyone I talk to about tolls says they'll just go around them. Added time be damned. Connecticut takes too much as it is...

Anyone with experience doing the ECGS bushing for the drivers side front axle? I am thinking this might be my problem. Been lifted 10 years and never did it but recently started (like 2 months ago) getting a grinding noise when turning. Besides that, something just feels clunky after driving for 10 miles or so and things have warmed up. Paid a shop to replace my CV axles back in Aug and should have done it then but wasn't on the radar then. Kicking myself now. Anyway, it was a lot of labor cost and don't want to pay again but nervous about being able to get the axle out, old bearings and seal out, new bushing and seal in and axle back in without buggering anything up.

Also, ICON coilovers are 10 years old with 180k on them. Never serviced but new Fox's on the way. Hoping that takes care of the clunking cause they are pretty harsh now and guessing they are completely shot but suspect the grinding will still be there until I do the ECGS bushing. Not sure what else it could be. Took it into Firestone to have them take a look at the front end - steering rack and swaybar end links, anything. But I could not reproduce the noise at the time and of course they found nothing. I don't think I have vibes that everyone says is caused by the needle bearings and lift combo. Steering wheel feels solid at all speeds.

Your right but this is just 1 more distraction on the road with drivers already distracted, hence more traffic.
Every time I drive through a toll and there is traffic already for some reason tends to slow down more when going through the toll.
When there is no traffic it tends to keep at same speed.

I see that where the tolls on the Whitestone bridge used to be. No idea why. Maybe some of them are worried the picture won't come out good enough or their ezpass won't register. Or, Maybe they are just used to slowing down there.
    :annoyed:
