Makes sense... I do like having the sway bar for daily use but it's currently resting on my skid plate and I'm wondering if it's causing the clunks I'm getting. I wanna rip the bitch out but I have a long drive next week through some windy country... I was getting concerned about how the truck would behave.

No embarrassment here, not even slightly. And you're only a "target" because you made yourself one. You can blame me for that if it gives you peace though. You have ever been a thorn in my side. Constantly trying to stir people up for no reason, life doesn't require the extra drama, and we don't live on a reality TV show. So I just decided I was done with it. If you're on the pavement or a high traction surface, yes. Because when you're in 4wd, your front and rear wheels are locked together. Since we don't have a center diff, there's no allowance for the front wheels to spin at a different rate than the rears.

 

Grease might've been the wrong word, it was from spraying them with dry lube 3 times a day for the last few months lol. Just collected a bunch of grime and crap.

Also maybe a year ago before I knew better, I sprayed them with silicone spray a few times which might've been the real culprit.

 

Resting on the skidplate is interesting, I've never seen one come that close before. Have you changed endlinks, how much tota front lift or drop do you have?

 

Did you get the bearing changed?

 

Ah gotcha, that's one reason I'm not a fan of doing anything other than cleaning the uniballs. They end up attracting more dirt. The guys at SDHQ said to just wash them thouroughly with pressure after trips to avoid this.

 

How are you liking the ARB bumper

 

yeah I think that was my main issue back when I first installed the Kings, I didn't take care to wash them after every trip. This time around I'm going to be diligent about it and hopefully avoid needing to lubricate them to keep them quiet all the time

 

Endlinks are stock. I just have OME882/nitrochargers in the front and dakars/nitrochargers in the rear. I do have a diff drop from toytec which caused me to space the front skid plate down to clear but spacing the front plate down shouldn't have brought the rear plate up... I really hate these all pro skids. Can't wait to replace them...

I have this stain remover that has done the work of Jesus on some of my pairs of jeans that were covered in oil. I forget the brand but I usually spray that shit on the stains, rub it in and let it sit for like 3 days to a week, then wash it and most of the time it comes out the first try.

 

Hmm, that's very strange then. The only times I've heard if this happening has been when someone lowered a 6lug. But I'd eager it has something to do with the relief in the skids. Most skids have a pocket to accept part of the bar.

 

Man, I can not find the drive to sweep the garage and pull my truck and start working on it, struggle bus is real.

 

That's me almost every weekday...we get the driveway Mon - Fri and the girl that lives in the guesthouse gets it on weekends. So usually I have to work on my truck in the evening after work, I look forward to it during the day but once I get off work and the sun is going down, the struggle is real.

 

One part of winter I will miss is being able to blame the lack of motivation to work on my truck on the cold...
