    So I'm sitting here trying to figure out what the point is of this style bumper is. Could someone enlighten me please? IE how it helps, what does it do, why do people have them?

    also can help if you come up to something you have to bump up. the angled stinger will lift your front wheels up onto the obstacle instead of just plowing into it.
