You are looking at drop bracket lifts for above 3 inches on 4wd and spindle lift if 2wd for 4+ inches

@KTJO 4x4 has a 6" lift. Check out her build thread.

With 888 springs 5100’s and Dakar md leaf pack would it be okay to run stock wheel/tires till i upgrade?

I wouldn't consider any lift over 3 inches an "upgrade". The 888 springs, 5100s and Dakars will be good for most instances.

1.5-3 inches is the sweet spot for performance and capability, anything higher you're just raising the center of gravity to make your truck more top heavy but not gaining much clearance. 6 inches of fender height will not gain clearance of the differentials.

Tires bigger than 33 inches will need a re-gear.

So the 888 and 5100’s the way to go?

Yessir! You might need aftermarket UCAs for a decent alignment but it's better than a 6 inch lift performance wise.

My truck with a 2 inch lift (887 springs with 3 leaf AAL) and 265/70/17 tires.

What’s the difference between the three leaf and Dakar pack?

Lookswise about the same, performance wise the Dakar can handle more weight.

What's the weight of that and will it be a permanent feature of the truck? If yes and over 200lbs all the time then an aftermarket full leafpack like a Dakar.

I have 150lbs in my toobox but it's close to the cab so the AAL is fine.

The rack and tent is 220 together but not a permanent thing. The rack would be more than the tent and it’s only 100lbs

Stick with the Dakar in the rear.

JBA or SPC can’t go wrong with either from what I read. I’m running Total Chaos but if I wasn’t it would be running JBA

I have SPC, happy with all the adjustability but can be confusing for some alignment shops.

Only reason I skipped the JBA is the red color.

Anything else needed to help support the truck with this lift?
