    After doing some more thinking, this is how I'll run the upper mounts on my limit straps. Some 1/4" plate to box in the frame a little bit (about 4" worth) and some 1.5" square DOM tube. This should get the tube directly above the axle. I'll weld the adjustable mounts to that tubing. That way I don't need to worry about the strap getting caught up in the tire or whatever.
