I will be selling mine. I bought the long bed version because he said it fits, and it did not. Its not mid height though. I am sand blasting it because like the OPs complaint, the "powder coating" was coming off like peeling a sticker. So gng to clean it up and post it

what do you mean it dosent fit i had the long bed verson on my short bed it fit fine it was just a pos rack lol

 

I mean where it needs to mount towards the tailgate, the metal was to thick for it to fit between the tailgate and the bed. You have a second gen as well.

The 16 model and 17 might also be different. Because when i brought it up, he was like "oh" they changed dimensions for the 17 so he assumed it was the same...

 

I think it works fine if you swap your bed out for a 2016 bed

I literally had to use the brackets that i bought from him for the tonnue cover and re-engineer to have a solid mounting plate to the bed...

 

damn thats dumb but you are better off selling it and getting anything else that rack is junk lol

Yup the part that mounts to the bed was not long enough to reach that!! thats why i had to use the other one so that it drops to it
