Are the snorkels removable and then have a filler piece for the fender ? Put em on or off when you want . That would make sense to me .

From where? How can driving in the rain and snow storms scooping water in provide better protection unless you turn the scoop intake around?

How sturdy do you think the plastic head mounted to the tube is in sub-zero temps?

I lived in Maine for 4 years......

Nope... just order a 2019 without one. Or wait for the 2020.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Pros cost too much and folks who use their truck as a truck are realizing the lower models do the same 'truck things' as a Pro.

Folks are realizing this years Pro color is next years everyone color; so exclusive only one year

Snorkels are functional, but few folks really need the function.

Therefore it must be a ploy to drain poseur wallets. :D :hattip:

I’m sure someone will come up with a clean mod where you cut the top off the shnorkel dingus thing and re-fasten the nozzle lower down. Should be easy enough.

Maybe Toyota will wise up and dump the "mandatory" snorkel and make it a dealer installed option next year.

I bet you if you found a dealer with a TRD pro with a snorkel in the same color as your non-snorkel car they would swap fender and snorkel for your non-snorkel fender.....even trade. Might be a easy way for them to actually sell the trd pro, and you get a free snorkel.

Do you guys think vandalism would be a problem? Pretty easy for someone to dump whatever they want down the snorkel no?

There's a black PRO with the snorkel at the local dealer, it would be a lot cooler if it was more subtle and low profile.
