I like my "softail sportster" though. I've always been a fan of stripped down bikes. I wanted another sporty but I'm just way too long and lanky for them. I had forward controls and forward tilted z bars on the nightster and while I found it comfortable, you could tell my frame was too big for it. Dyna would have been perfect but my decision to get back on 2 wheels was right when Dynas were killed so here in SoCal, the market skyrocketed on every beat to shit dyna that was out there. It's calmed down now, but I still look around. The softail is awesome and fun to ride, but I'm obviously not completely satisfied because I'm still looking at bikes.

Thanks! Still have a little more work to do but I am really liking the progress so far. Plus, and most importantly, it's a ton of fun to ride.

This is a 2002 - still carbureted. I'll get the measurements for you tonight, though.

DAMMIT and I just ordered my sissy bar yesterday. Guess I will have to buy something else...

    $403.75 for a Shoei RF-1200!
I'll put the $4.75 Ebay bucks towards the Denali Lights the next time a discount code comes around.

65 today. Rode in to work. Every time I ride it, I’m reminded of why I wanted it in the first place. (That’s what she said).

I think I’ll keep my bike.

Me too. I found a GROM on CL with 250 miles on it for $1800. Almost bought it. :anonymous:
Then I remembered that I was too lanky for a sportster.

I dunno. Half way between meth head and drunken cheetah. I don't think they're freeway legal so without looking it up I'd say about 50mph.

Edit: (looked it up) 62 mph but you're probably revving the shit out of the little 125. What do you want for 134 MPGs?

I'm 6'1", but I'm built like a spider monkey. I totally would buy it but I'm currently expanding my shop and that money would be better spent on tools that make cool toys.

Been a while since I last went on a ride, but felt good to get out. I love this spot, I always have the whole place to myself.
