How long of a drive was that? Did you take the ferry? Looks sweet

If you take ferry it takes 3 hours to drive there, 2 hours being on the ferry and it’s about 1 hour drive from the port vs 8 hours via 400 from Toronto.

I know @Thyces had a hell of a time with his intake on the first ardbeg run.

We Jerry rigged this since we had to fit a new filter and do a bunch of oil changes. Plus a bunch of other stuff.

Driving is a cheaper option I can tell you, that ferry is not cheap and best times could already be all booked leaving you with either 6am departure (we had to leave at 2.30am from Mississauga to reach by 6) or 9pm ones. So book early if you can.

I don't mind paying to avoid the long way, I'll look ahead, I'd have to wait to book the campsite until may 1st anyway so hopefully I'll be able to get a read on the ferry too.

Looks like a nice little campground, I like that its near water so Amy and I could canoe a bit if we want to (if its calm). Theres a few inland campgrounds I found but I don't know what we'd do with ourselves if we couldn't get out on the water.

You say that. Then one day you find yourself doing at think to yourself “what the hell happened....”

I remember having a conversation with someone saying “265/75/16’s and I’m done” at the beginning of the trip. Saw someone on 33’s with the nines, and by the end I caught the bug. Has been a downward spiral ever since.
