Found out last night my switch pros was malfunctioning. Just 1 month out of the two year warranty. Some outputs are bleeding into others. Making them act sporadically when I turn on or strobe certain outputs.

Water damage is the case, water settled on top of it and must of seeped into it. I pulled the bulk connector off and found corrosion, cleaned it out and still have the issues. Makes me believe there's corrosion internally now.

I double checked the installation for the new 9100 and it states no flat mounting as water can pool on top. I have had mine flat as I've seen others as well.

Now I have a reason to upgrade. I still think I'm going to try to open it up and inspect the corrosion. Hopefully I can get it open to clean it up and fix it.

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint

Call them first and explain the situation
They are fantastic and want to help when they can, (within reason)

Toyota blew mine up when it was in for an oil change and they helped me replace it

I was having intermittent issues with low voltage on one output and another didn't always work. I have mine covered for the most part. Was getting ready to pull it out and send it in.

Just walked out to my truck and one of my bar lights was on. I could also smell some burning. Popped the hood and the box had gotten hot enough to melt itself and the power wire. My battery is dead, too.

Even if they fix this, I'm hesitant to put it back in. I'd rather not burn my truck down. Switch pro is less than a year old.

Having an issue with mine where it just wont turn on sometimes. Like the panel is blacked out and everything. The thing that boggles me is that I can unplug/replug the 2 fuse taps, and the bulk connector, and it will usually reset. Had the issue last night, and nothing would revive it. Get in my truck this morning, turn the key, and it lights right up like nothing ever happened.

Either it's the fuse tap for the EFI being faulty, or the switchpro unit is wonky. Figured I'd address the fuse tap first, and if that doesn't fix it, I'll call Switchpro again. Their tech engineer is a great guy, but even he has been baffled by this issue.

Headlight fuse. Pretty much dead middle of the fuse panel. 4 fuses: 1 fuse each for each side's low and high beam.

I’ve been gone for a minute and haven’t driven my truck much but I just installed an ARB dual compressor and I’m able to access the Switch-Pro app while the truck is completely off... is that normal? The control pad switches off completely when the truck turns off but I can still connect via Bluetooth and can control lights. This may be normal... just haven’t been able to use the system

Do you have a picture of how you wired it? Or maybe some instructions you followed? I need a guide to help me with wiring mine.

    Check out the build
Bluetooth is always on when the SP is connected to power.

You can control which outputs are on with ignition in the app.

    My bad! I’ll get some

Just for some info to start I used the expedition essentials bed mount and purchased the wiring extension from them with the switch pro adapter for the compressor and lockers.

I’m still working on wiring. But this is what I have so far...
Got stuck with stock battery wires. I want to use new military style terminals and I’m not sure how to connect stock pos/neg

I'm not 100% on what you're trying to do, but I ended up making my own battery cables for the main stuff. Then used some audio battery terminals that accept the OEM style cables and there are inserts for a few more wires. That way I could connect the Switch Pro and not have a billion terminal rings connected to that one bolt. Does that help? I can post a link to the battery terminals....

    Thanks @crashdb
I'm trying to use the military style battery terminals which have two bolts sideways. The OEM style has one bolt pointing up. I can easily increase the hole size with my step bits but not sure how to bend OEM metal 90 degrees to attach to sideways bolts... clear as mud?
Basically if I bought a good quality hydraulic crimping tool I could extend OEM cables and attach a new ring terminal.
I just have less confidence with electric stuff...:notsure:

No worries. The crimping tools are easy to use. I bought one for this adventure. Think it came from Harbor Freight. Never done it before and everything came out great.

How are you guys cleaning the bus bars and stuff under the hood? Just pressure wash and hope there isn’t a short or a better way?
