Haven’t seen many 3rd gen Tacoma’s posted up. Picked mine up from Brute force just a week ago. Billy and his team did an amazing job!

Don't forget to oil/lube the spring pin that unlocks your swing gate. Mine was a bit crusty the other day.

Really? How come? I was thinking about using my surface mount ones I had up front and having billy recess cut outs like he did on the front for the rear.

I talked to him today and there’s not enough room which is why he doesn’t do it. I’m going to find a way as I already have S2’s.

I can see that, the 3rd gen bumper is a little taller compared to the 2nd gen. I was thinking along the lines of where the boxed cutouts he does for 2nd gen do the s2 flush cuts should be plenty of room and not along the edges like for the 3rd gens

but yeah the flat portions on the 2nd rear is not tall enough for a flush, he would have to do a recessed box in cut....which is more complicated

Exactly. the S2 flush mount would be right on a weld so even making the cutout would cause issues. He would have to cut it after by hand. We are going to brainstorm. I was thinking that either different plate where we mount it from the middle instead of the corners of even boxing it. He gets a lot of people asking. I am going to send him one of my flush mount S2's and let him brainstorm with it.

Yah so far, he is doing some work on the bumpers and getting how you want it setup. Luckily the Pelfrey front bumper I had was designed around 37's so it was already short enough. =)

I wanted to get my rear to line up with the bumper without having to cut then repaint or what not. Good to know. Excited to get it. I kept putting it off and just got my order in today.

he could make the box cutouts smaller to fit your s2, i think the flush mounts can still be mounted with the U bracket -- that would the be simplest solution to an existing problem

his mounting bracket allows for the lights to sit how you want it, ie deep in or flush with bumper

Let me know what you figure out with billy, hes a great guy to deal with. Only downside is hes a small shop and cant take in all the orders he wants. Would like to buy more of his stuff if he made other stuff I didnt have but need.

Wish I went bd from the beginning, its just a better designed product for not much more than rigid...not that rigid is a bad product

yah so far its been good and seeing great things. Making sure you get a solid product is missing with many. Yah he is booming with business right now so its good and bad for him. I started switching out to all BD as well when I had planned on going with all Rigid. I had mix of stuff now. Missing the baller light bars but ditch, scene, back up are all BD now. Scored on the Black Friday deals.
