Why don't we start with Holecomb instead and see how that goes?

Makes total sense I have kings currently got them 2nd hand. I’m thinking of selling the rears to get some funds. I may just stick with the smoothies an get some HD hangers while I’m at it.

I have a smittybilt XRC 9.5 gen 2 w/ synthetic line. It’s been a great little winch have done a few recovery’s without issue. A good snatch block makes all the difference for the pulling power of the winch. If I had to do it again I’d get a warn m8000 that is one helluva work horse.

I haven’t really, respooled it with tension seems like it should have no problem. Really wished I would’ve put frame reinforcement on the front before I put my bumper kinda worried about that, may wanna do that if haven’t when you swap bumpers.

Bijan I have the Superwinch tiger shark 9500 and it’s been a great winch so far. Before you go winching your truck off anything lemme upgrade your frame horns before they get cracked to pieces. I’ll weld some 3/16” plate to the front and upgrade those crappy little bolts that hold the bumper on with some 1/2” grade 8 bolts.

Also, I read you needed some new bolts for your rear bumper. I have a huge bucket of bolts that might have some of those in there if you need them. Unless you already ordered them. Knowing you you probably already did lol

Dude after a few times winching my truck hard I went to go repaint my bumper and I was like holy crap!! How is my bumper still attached???

I welded in some reinforcements, cut those terrible little frame horn bolts off, welded in some stout 1/2” grade 8 bolts and my bumper feels like the front end of a tank now! Sooo solid

Sorry I totally forgot to respond to your text!

I haven’t bought anything yet. I was actually looking today on frame supports for the front as I remember you telling me to do them. I’ll send you a text tomorrow morning, kinda hoping you don’t get booked for a show for another 3 weeks so you have 2 days free :D

You should see the gigantic stash of parts I have. I’m almost at the point where the HF Vulcan would be worth it so I can start welding. I actually was welding tonight at my buddies shop and not gonna lie, I wasn’t nearly as bad as I remember haha.
