Wasn't planning on doing this much but when the upgraded stock turbos that were on it were toast I needed to make it better

 

Just got to Moab. Came the long way through Zion, Capitol Reef, and Goblin's Canyon.

I'll get some videos uploaded soon. Moab actually has signal. The past two days we've had zero signal. Even the XM Radio was intermittent.

We didn't venture too far down the wash out because we were solo and it would have been a days hike out if we needed help. We were way in the back country.

 

Not tonight, we both need a decent night's sleep and we definitely need a shower.

 

Also I think my truck runs lean. I've been getting 17 and even 18mpg consistently. The truck is very responsive above 6,000 feet. Above 7,500 feet and below 40F it's a freaking sports car. Not a very good one, but it's got a lot more power.

I think I'll leave it at 600 to the wheels for now I need to upgrade the heads, the trans and fueling before I can start making bigger numbers like 800-1000

I left my house to go get some coilovers installed by Chris and about 30 minutes to his house it threw a couple rings. Limped it all the way to his house where I got another truck and trailer and drove it to Dallas to get worked on. That's where it's sitting until the new motor is in.

 

Dang sorry to hear that man, but sounds like the upgrades will be awesome. That thing is gonna be a monster. Youll have to take me for a ride in it once you get her dialed in
