Got a call from my mom on my way home from work today to find out my brother got into a car accident. Apparently he had a seizure (first in his life) and crashed into a city bus. Could have been a lot worse as he just got off the freeway and “fishhook” in Santa Cruz (for those that know it). Beat up, bruised and 2 fractured vertebrae, but can go home tonight. Glad that’s it after seeing the accident photos.

Ho-Lee-Fuk. Glad he’s not in as bad of shape as the car is. Scary shit having a random seizure while driving. Could have been wayyyy worse. Hoping he heals up ok!

Wish him the best recovery possible and you and your family the least stress possible worrying about him. My little brother got diabetes a few years back and drinks a shit load, sometimes forgets too or takes too much insulation when he is tossed. He's had one bad seizure so far and it scares the shit out of me. He wasn't driving luckily, but I know how it is too worry about that kind of shit.

Man...that sucks. I wonder what caused the seizure?

I started having seizures when I was 12 after I fractured my skull and broke my brain. Luckily I've been seizure free for 22 years now.

Hopefully this is a one time event for your brother. If it's not meds and treatments have come a long way. My first neurologist put me on phenobarbital because he when to med school in 1920 or something. Shit totally sucked. Seizures were preferable. My family moved and I got a much better neurologist who tried different drugs until we found one that worked with minimal side effects.

Thanks guys, with him now and he’s rough but able to walk around. Should be out tomorrow since they want to monitor him longer.

That sucks...I am glad he is doing okay. My sister-in-law had a similar situation. She was driving on a highway and had her first seizure and passed out behind the wheel, but luckily she was with her friend and she was able to maneuver the car to safe stop. Hope he recovers quickly.

Wail on the upper cross pieces(front & back) and notch the lowers. Or cut them out and weld new on the back. Bet you didn't need any suggestions either. Sorry, I don't do makeyoufeelbetter.

Yep. That's a Chinese knockoff of a knockoff. I see them pop up on Craigslist every so often.
